After watching the trailer over and over again (between this and TDKR I've been rewatching trailers a lot lately), this seems like it has the potential to be way better than World of Goo.
Did they even show any gameplay aspects?
I'm too lazy to watch the entire video so I just skip through.
No, but apparently they were "strongly hinted" at.
Anyway, World of Goo had a neat story that was hidden in the background of the game for far too long, and this game looks to be much more upfront about it. That makes me excited for Little Inferno in and of itself.

since it's indie, this might have nothing to do with the game at all. Because indie.
Y'know Winter 2012 is kind of a small window of time...but assuming it's true that's big news for Wii U. A legit must have downloadable title before the end of the year, that's not on 360 or Ps3. That's something Nintendo could use as much of as possible.
Wow, gorgeous. I absolutely LOVE World of Goo and it seems like the artstyle is brought back in this game as well. Looks great, can't wait to see and hear more about it!

It's currently the biggest selling point for me on the Wii U right now, considering I can get Runner2 on PS3.
Curious if its going to be a steam release or widnows 8 metro store.
Well World of Goo did the same thing. Came out originally on Steam as well as 2D Boy's own distribution methods and also Wii Ware but never found it's way to PSN or XBLA...... and then eventually mobile versions.
Nywho, day one get for me. All they needed to say is "World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth devs" and I was sold but the trailer is the icing on the cake.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Has anybody preordered the game on their website recently? I preordered mine, and I want to receive the beta version at some point :3
Nah. I don't have time to help out with the beta, and I'm one of those people who waits until the game is already out to pay for it (with digital downloads, at least).
Has anyone else read the Nintendo Power article on this yet? They seem to be the only ones who know anything about the actual game at this point; I read about 60% of the article, and the game seems like it is just as weird and creepy as the trailer suggests! The basic premise is this: by burning toys, you earn coins, which you then use to buy more toys using the mail-order catalog, and the process repeats itself. There's more to it then that, naturally, but that's the basic idea.
