There is nothing to say. Both because they have not given many details about this game (honestly until today, I only vaguely remember hearing about something about this once...maybe) but also because "the developers of World of Goo". Like there, do you need another reason to care? I don't have to put that overdone Futurama meme pic, they already have my money anyway. Because World of Goo is easily one of the best games of the last decade, and even that might not be giving them nearly enough credit.
Apparently they're gonna reveal some info soon. I hope I don't forget.
Only Kyle Gabler was involved in the development of World of Goo, who created that distinctive art style. Needless to say, I'll be keeping my eye on this.
Ah, did not know that. That's still about 50% of World of Goo though, so still hyped quite a bit.

I found World of Goo to be alright, but a bit underwhelming considering everyone has had such high praise for it so I was expecting a bit more.
One of the best games on WiiWare that I've played, but that's not saying much.

According to the website, "Blomquist also ... contributed his indie talents" to World of Goo. He helped program the Wii version, IIRC. And the other guy made Henry Hatsworth, so that's neat.
@AlexSays I feel that World of Goo was overpraised, especially when compared to the likes of BIT.TRIP and Cave Story on the same platform. But it was still one of my favorites games of 2008, and it was my first indie game so it will always hold a special place in my heart for that.
No, the game was underhyped, it is that good. Amazing soundtrack, one of the most addicting replayable games ever, just filled with clever humor and fun and creativity.
Until it sells more than New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Black Ops combined, it is underrated. Screw the world and anyone who disagrees!*

Yeah we're on opposite sides of the fence there lol
I never got the praise behind the Bit Trip games. They're cute, but really simple, super repetitive, and at times seizure-inducing. And Cave Story is a decent platformer but nothing that hasn't been seen before.
World of Goo is the best of it's type. That's why I support it so much
I got Steam so I could redeem my World of Goo code. It's still my favorite indie game and one of the best I've played on the PC. Can't wait to see this new game.

Sweet jesus! I've been waiting for them to make a new game since....well since I finished World of Goo! WoG was one of the most sublime games i've ever played so I can't wait to hear more about this new title. It had better be on the way to Wii U, 3DS, or both!
After watching the trailer over and over again (between this and TDKR I've been rewatching trailers a lot lately), this seems like it has the potential to be way better than World of Goo.
