i couldn't sleep and wound up against some of the SD players, umbreona and elza. i guess they get on a few hours after most of us have left for the night. held up decently against both, but i think it's fair to say i gave elza a mild thrashing.

rory, i noticed you got a 29 killstreak. nice! i'd expect no less from the leader of nintendo life. i got 28 in jungle while playing as bond, how'd you get yours? with all the glitches and people spawning behind me lately i haven't gotten a really good streak in a while. i was holding that crate room in docks tonight and i had a hunch that someone had spawned behind me up in the tower... went up the steps and found 3 people coming down. took them out and got to the top and 2 more were up there... the entire team kept spawning in that one spot even as i was killing them right there. what the hell?!

i got my 31 kill streak using a silenced pavlov on jungle for goldeneye, i had to keep relocating to make sure i didn't die lol

my problem is that even when i'm getting a good run against really crappy players i can't help getting shotgunned or noob tubed eventually. then there's that lag where you and the other guy both kill each other even though one of you clearly killed the other first. i guess luck just has to be on your side to pull it off...

by the way, Mx, did you get a 500xp bonus at 30 kills? or do you only get that for winning conflict 30-0?

it goes through the 5 elim and 10 elim thing again at like 20, and you get more experience for it, been so long since it happened though i can barely remember.

@romulux, I got that a few days ago on Heroes mode in the Industrial. Had a 29 kill streak and I killed the other hero at least six or seven times, but I guess that doesn't count. I think their was one or two NLifers with me at the time and everyone on my team was working really well together. I almost made it through the whole game being the Hero, got killed around the 110 mark.

@romulux I was going to ask every one about the lag while killing someone. I get that all the time. I'll flank someone and there gun is pointing completly away from me and somehow they manage to kill me also.

@mxtnk i HATE it when snipers camp on goldeneye. I end up scaning the whole area before going to the console only to get poped from the other side of the stage. I think you inspired me though to give it a try. Don't think I could get 31 streak but a whole bunch kills would be fun.

@romulux Good Way to represent us against those SD clans. We need to show them who's the best. To bad I will never be up that late to help. 3 am is my limit.

@Rorylee As the leader of our group I expect an even better kill streak. So get out there and get it done. I'm looking for 40 or more. LOL!!!

I feel the same romulux does about the kill streak. Its hard with my play style to get it there. Not sure but I still might only be at 20. I need to change my style since I usually just run head first into battle against non lifers. Its usually suicide but sometimes I still do it and get murdered. Which was the case on that docks run the other night where me and romulux lost cus of me. :(

I play on a 46 in LCD also 120 MHz. I guess the 1080p doesn't really matter on the Wii. I need to up my brightness for those sewers jungle and industrial runs. Its such an advantage being the Russians on those levels.

OK head to head with the same load out would be on even terms. But some of you can't withstand the amount of damage that I can so that's why it might be hard to take me down. RDB Ive noticed your a lot faster now so like you said it will take sometime to fully adjust to the control and you will be just fine. Trying to learn those controls against us though is a problem since most of us here are so quick. I should be on even terms with our leader Rorylee (LOL) and romulux soon as I'm almost in the 40s. I should already be there but that 2 week set back killed me. Still I got to level 25 pretty fast in that amount of time on my brothers system. Maybe because of the fact I didn't have to go up against to many lifers in that amount of time. ;)

I like to see who the best players are once we all get up to the Max level and everything is even. That's where the skill will come in.

I'm only 21% there! Wow that's going to take awhile. I actually like the leveling up system. it really makes you earn your weapons and the more time you put in the more of an advantage you have over other people. Luckily for us we got the game when it first came out and don't have to play very many people ranked higher than us. Could you imagine how hard it would be if you were just starting out say a year from now and having to play people regularly with ivana r's, masterdons, and proxy's!

On that note... I started another online id just for fun and to see how much harder it is right now. I was at lvl 7 in an hour. I think a large part of this game is just based on time developed skill. Yea, weapons make a difference, some more than others, but I'd put my money on almost any lifer w/ a stauger or kallos over the lvl 56 noob/hacker anyday!!! Summary: skill and strategy are king in this game.

Edit: I guess it would be pretty tough to fight a whole team of bad lvl 56's though.

@RDB I was at level 5 after 2 matches when I started on my brothers Wii. I totally owned a level 30 player one match and got well over 1000 exp. So yeah I agree that a team of lifers starting at level one would still be a formitable team against most anyone.

Oh yes, very good film. That's how you remake something (although it's more of a homage than a remake).

I'm playing on a Panasonic Viera 32". I believe it's 100hz, but I don't recall for sure. And I'm a grand old thirty-one.

i think we've all been killing players/hackers who far outrank us for a while now. the high level guns are really powerful but they're also hard to use because of the recoil and small clips. i'm sure rory can agree that the anova and strata are both harder to control when shooting than any guns and burn through their clips in no time. that's why hackers suck with those weapons.

good players who legitimately have those are another story, they can be very tough if you're using something like the stauger still but it's never impossible to take them out. the terralite is always going to be the best gun on big maps and most 56ers will use their unlocked guns instead, which can give you a big advantage when they're far away. at short range you just have to play better and go for headshots; a staguer to the head kills even faster than a strata to the body.

hmmm.. interesting idea. we could all start a new game with new "nl" names and go play team. It'd be fun to have an all lvl 1 team crush the competition! Imagine being on the other team and seeing an all lvl1 team and thinking "oh yea, kill streak time" and then getting dominated! what a blast!... or am I just a little sick???

RDB, i think by the end of the first round none of us would be level 1 anymore and it'd be over
