Topic: Top 10 games you have played on the switch so far

Just wanted to know what everyone is having a blast playing on the switch.

1. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the World - A reason to buy the system. Groundbreaking for Zelda and Nintendo.
2. Mario Odyssey - Probably my favourite Mario game of all time. Certainly my favourite 3D Mario.
3. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Got very invested in this. Great world and collecting blades is a blast.
4. Mario and Rabids - Bright, funny, accessible, yet deep. Great fun.
5. Mario Kart 8 - The best version of Mario Kart...on the go!
6. Splatoon 2 - Every bit as good as the original and great for a quick online sesh.
7. Sonic Mania - As good as the classics.
8. Yooka Laylee - As good as the classics.
9. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - A great casual take on Metroidvania with a great art style.
10. Puyo Puyo Tetris - Ridiculously addictive.

I had a harder time expected choosing only 10...honourable mentions to Voez, Pokken, Arms and Wonderboy. Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2 probably belong there as well but I've not played enough of them yet!

Getting the obvious ones out of the way...

3. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Great story and pretty solid Xenoblade game. Over 100 hours of content, definitely worth the buy.
4. Dragon Quest Builders - Not a huge Minecraft fan so this really surprised me. It's a stellar game and I'd recommend it even if you've never heard of Dragon Quest. The references are nice but not necessary to enjoy it.
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Honestly worth it even if you own the Wii U version thanks to Renegade Roundup, at least in my opinion. I put more hours into this one than the Wii U one.
6. Stardew Valley - Owned it on PC but never got into it until I bought the Switch version. Put about 50 hours into it and honestly it's much better than recent Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon games.
7. Splatoon 2 - Splatoon is just plain fun, and this is the definitive version of the game. Also, Pearl and Marina are surprisingly better than Callie and Marie.
8. DOOM - Never really looked into this game until it came on the Switch. Figured it was just a bland "kill everything in your path" type game. It has a surprising amount of exploration and secrets, which I enjoyed.
9. Snipperclips - Really enjoyable game if you have a partner to play with. The art style is adorable.
10. Puyo Puyo Tetris - surprisingly addictive

Arms gets an honorable mention but it's not quite fleshed out enough. I'm also assuming the new Kirby game will be on the list instead of Puyo.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - has become my second favorite RPG of all time
2. Stardew Valley - both super chill and yet fun and time wasting.
3. Disgaea 5 Complete - Over the top, silly, addictive, fun gameplay, great animations
4. Breath of the Wild - Most fun Zelda game I have ever played.
5. Mario Kart 8 DX - Best Mario Kart - fight me!
6. Night in the Woods - an outstanding narrative that is well suited to my age group, easy to relate to and memorable
7. Golf Story - It made ME enjoy golf. That is impressive.
8. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - immensely fun, made me like the Rabbids
9. Mario Odyssey - One of the best Mario titles to date.
10. Splatoon 2 - Salmon Run - enough said.

I could go on. At last count I have 30 games on Switch already, with more I want to buy and play. I adore the Switch, and have hardly touched other games or systems since I got it.

I'd like to play more of Mario + Rabbids one of these days. I have Super Mario Party as well and from what I've played it's pretty good.

1. Mario Odyssey. One of my favorites. Sublime.

2. Xenoblade 2 also one of my new all time favourites. Looks good and an awrsome story. Battle system is great.

3. Night in the Woods. Stellar soundtrack that matches the tone of the game perfectly. Well crafted story and relaxed gameplay.

4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The best multiplayer game gets even better.

5. Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The other best multiplayer game gets better.

6. Super Mario Party. The best mulyipl... you get the idea.

7. Arms. A great new IP with a lot of character and solid mechanics.

8. Mario+Rabbids. An unlikely crossover that surprises and charms.

9. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Great game to lose yourself in. Would probably rank higher if I was a bigger fan of the series.

10. Shantae Half Genie Hero. Relaxed take on the MrtroidVania genre. Colourful and fun.
