@GridAttack Yeah, I'm aware of that issue with the Wall Jumping, I thought about what to do about it for a while and ultimately couldn't come up with a solution so I just used coins to incentivize players to Wall Jump (I didn't do that with the section where they fall down because it's already pretty difficult landing on it with the spike blocks next to it, and the goal section has the flying Bob-ombs). And yeah, I thought of using spikes too, but they won't let Snake Blocks pass through them. It doesn't seem fixable with the current tools, so I just left it as is.
As for the emptiness, the level was a bit cramped as is, so I didn't feel the need to add anything else. Maybe for later levels I'll try to work more elements in.
Thanks for the constructive criticism!
Anyway, I came up with another level idea as I was working on it, so I uploaded another one:
@J-Plap Well I agree that it's nice to not see a ton of really poorly made levels, I don't agree with you on liking levels with no power ups. It's frankly very annoying and not how Mario games are played. If you like them, all the power to you, but I don't.

I don't know when I'll make the insanely confusing level yet, or how I'm going to even pull it off. But I really want to do it, I may just do something with Snake Blocks instead for now...

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Hm. I made a level, and thought it would be a good length, but it kinda feels short now that I play it after uploading it.
Not sure if it's just because I created it, so I'm good at navigating it.
Maybe it needed more unfair traps.
Edit: I guess I'll put the code here too. 9M0 HX9 VXG
Haha I just noticed there’s a bit of a timeline error in my level, with the on/off switch, since you press it in the future to advance in the past. Oops.
Uh. We can assume the pipes work like the timeshift stones from Zelda.
Guys, I need your help because I don't have the game(and I won't get it) but my little cousin asked me How he can use his huge AMIIBOS collection with the game.
He told me that it was easy with Super Mario Maker on the WiiU but it seems to not work on the Switch.
Is there something special to do to unlock the use of Amiibos ?
Had it on preorder, couldn't wait to get it. Now that I have it it seems that most user created courses I tried were broken or just plain crap. Or simpler: not of my taste at all. All in all I can appreciate how very well made this game is, but I fear that I don't have the time to learn all its secrets and little hidden tips and features, so I might return it and get a more classic super mario experience... anyone else sharing my sentiment? I fear I might have grown up i.e. not having much time to learn how to use the editor...
