Oh welp, yeah that's a problem.

You can actually play the 3DS game online, but it still requires a WiiU. Plus an ethernet adapter for it.

You'd think the internet would find another around that at this point. lol
Anyways, I still have 3U, and the Wii U (even though I put it away since I stopped using it)...so I can still do multiplayer. Although I still want to get back into Freedom Unite now that I actually own it....haven't played that in a long time. (...plus I still got World, lol)

Freedom unite on iOS has online I think.

Anyone up to beat Valstrax? Never tried multiplayer with demo and can’t beat it alone so I need some help. I play with charge blade btw

Well. I went the distance on Valstrax with Adept Heavy Bowgun(solo). I'll take that as a victory. Now to get good enough to kill it.

That's quite an accomplishment.

I lasted him out the entire fight without carting, but I just cant seem to kill him in time, or even get him limping for that matter.

@JaxonH That's impressive as well. I haven't done a no cart on him yet. Trying to get that adept dodge timing down.

I think I got him enraged about three times but he wasnt limping. All in good time. I just got to get those adept reloads in more for the extra damage.

It's just adds to the sweet, sweet revenge when you kill it in the full game =)

Has anyone managed to kill Valstrax with a full party? I always ran out of time before we kill him and I couldn't sworn we were close...

I don't think you're meant to kill Valstrax. I think they want you to fail, leaving you thirsty for more, ready to rush out and buy the game so you can beat him.

....I have a weird urge to try it myself, I don't remember doing this in XX's demo. I failed both times I think. (I only fought him twice, lol)

We could try once four of us manage to be online at the same time

A separate app handles the transfers, no need to load the actual game.

(and since gen saved the game in the SD card instead of the cartridge, then you may not even need the cartridge at all!)

I did the transfer for MHXX last year.

You need the game open on Switch to set up a server link, and the 3DS open to open the connection and send the data to the cloud once the link with Switch has been established

Forgot to mention it is possible to beat Valstrax solo but was just wondering if anyone was able to beat it in multiplayer with the hp bump like @ReadersRagFish
