Super Mario 3D World takes the cake for February. No, it wasn't better than Super Mario Galaxy, but seeing as that is my favorite game ever, I didn't expect it to. It was pure simple fun through and through.
My runner-up would have to be The Walking Dead even though it was terribly depressing.

February Game of the Month: Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure
I did get stuck on this one part at the end but managed to beat the main story mode. It isn't a perfect game but the rhythm challenges, music, and art style are fresh and charming enough to leave an impact. Sad we may never see a sequel considering it left off on a bit of a cliffhanger.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
The platforming is nothing new, but I can't disagree to loving a sequel to my favourite platformer. Props to Retro for making the levels more creative and fun-oriented. And great props to David Wise for the soundtrack.
February would be Rune Factory 4. Sadly burned out on it trying to get the memories event to trigger.
March looks to be UnEpic. Really enjoying this one, so much that I am starting over on hard++ right after my first run (normal) and that is really rare that I restart any game right after beating it.
Late March and April will likely be Tropical Freeze, once I clear unepic again
January Broken Age Act 1 (Only if that counts, if not probably Rogue Legacy)
February Ico and Shadow of the Collosus HD (As for current releases, you cant beat Bravely default)
2013
January: Resident Evil: Revelations (Best Resident Evil game I've played)
February: Uncahined Blades (Best dungeon crawler I've played)
March: Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (These games keep on getting better and better!)
April: HarmoKnight (Real fun rhythm game!)
May: 999 (Amazing story and made me really want to get VLR!)
June: Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages (Hard to choose between the 2)
July: Shining Force: Sword of Hayja (Great stategy rpg and loved the story)
August: Shin Megami Tensei IV (Originally just got this game for the promotion but man it is awesome! I really have to get myself into this series)
September: Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon (I'm really good at finding great games long after they release...)
October: Fire Emblem Awakening (By far game of the month along with game of the year!)
November: Fortune Street (Love this game its like monopoly with a twist and i played that a lot when i was younger)
December: Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (Didn't play much video games in December but the little i did was Dream Team
2014
January : Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Got this for Christmas and loved it!)
February: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (Love Ace Attorney too much...)
Even though march isn't over yet i have a large idea for what my game is going to be and I'm thinking Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. I got it on release day and haven't been able to stop playing it!
Now for something completely different!
Still got it memorized? My Skitloggery
