Is their break over yet? Clockwork Angels was their finest work since Permanent Waves IMO and I've been dying for a follow up.

Brony or not, in less than 5 minutes he [they, it's a group project] basically beat the MLP studio at their own game - it seriously has the extra amount of detail in the backrounds and character designs, as well as use of color, that really makes it pop. I won't pretend like a 5 minute clip by a group of enthusiasts made at their own pace is a good comparison to TV series made by a time-strapped studio on a budget with episodes that are 4 times the length, but seriously if MLP or other series with similar art styles looked this good I'd probably enjoy them a lot more - I mean, the head bobbing's kind of annoying and while the art style is still similar and the differences are subtle (and it's not like it's an MLP video or anything), but it's the little things that make it exciting. I can't wait to see what they up with next.

Also, it introduced me to Vivziepop's channel, which looks like it'll pertain to my interests.

I'm mostly a fan of ambient tracks, so a lot of my music library consists of video game music.

When it comes down to genres, I listen to a good bit of:

Electro-Swing
Anti-Folk
Classic Rock
Baroque
(Probably more I can't think of right now...)

When it comes to artists, I'm a fan of:
Tom Waits
Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass
(There are probably more, but I'm tired and can't think of the rest...)

classics from 50s to 90s. sinatra,elvis, beatles, santana, hendrix, led zep, jethro tull, rolling stones, black sabbath, iron maiden, metallica, creed, etc etc

funny how some post a long time ago said this would be locked topic okay well you made the post like 22posts ago and this page is still active what do you have to say about that

I would say that I can't think of a more useless reason to bump a week old thread.

I think the Music Thread was actually changed to make it easier to accomodate this type of discussion, so I think the mods can lock it, now. :/
