What are some Underrated Movies? I wanna name Speed Racer.
It is one of the few tv show or anime adaptation movies that capture the spirit of show, instead of making it "Hip and cool". And the visuals are great.
yeah Speed Racer wasn't half bad!
but I stll like the old anime better!

^And again do I see that movie popping up in my feed, maybe I was destined to watch a good Ridley Scott film. Anyways as far as Underrated movies go, I always had a guilty pleasure with the Saw movies, especially the 6th. The traps were inventive and at the same time thrilling to watch as the victim tries to escape. The 7th film though was the only one I did not like that much. Also, I thought Batman and Robin was a great comedy, definitely a good time when you're drunk.
As for Under appreciated films, I could list alot of animated flicks, those of Miyazaki in particular but I want to give a shout out to the russian animated classic, The Snow Queen released in 1957. It was the main inspiration that got Miyazaki back on his feet and even though it has dated elements and simplistic storytelling (since it was an accurate adaptation of the original fairytale), I still find it a great watch if you're in the mood for some surreal animation.
Yes. The Wicker Man was so bad, yet so entertaining. Nicolas Cage has the ability of making a bad movie that would have othewise be boring, entertaining.
Sure, it's not anywhere near the same league as Iron Man, Avengers, Captain America, etc, etc. Despite that however, I just had a good time with it, even if it was a bit silly at times.
I actually liked it more than the recent Batman trilogy, even though those are better films. This had that sense of fun I expect from a superhero movie, while I felt those were a bit too serious.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
For me I would have to go with Xmen Origins: Wolverine. Sure it wasn't as good as the other Xmen movies but I did enjoy it alot. The only part that I didn't like was how they totally messed up Deadpool at the end but other then that it was an enjoyable movie.

I feel like Batman Begins is pretty overshadowed by The Dark Knight. I think the Batman Begins is the best film of the trilogy.
I think the reason it's overshadowed is because it lacks a strong, central villain. Ra's al Ghul and Scarecrow both feel like minor characters in the first film. Both of them lack the intensity and presence that the Joker and Bane have in the following movies.
