that said, have i recommended Stargate: SG-1 or Atlantis yet? because they're both amazing and i love them to bits. idk why i didn't watch them when they were on TV (probably work schedule conflicts), but they've got both entire series-es (and the movies iirc) up on Netflix. if you're in the mood to sink to your ears in good sci-fi times, definitely give it a shot.

Stargate: Universe, though... can't recommend it, really. they strayed from the format of the show's previous incarnations and went for a more realistic, gritty feel. i was disappointed

Well I would try it on some other device first. If you are trying to stream it on your PC than try streaming it on your Wii, Xbox or PS3 if you got one or another computer. If not maybe see if you can stream it on a friends computer. It might be your connection but try one of the other devices first to get a better idea.

Ok got sidetracked yesterday....and was busy today....so now I've tried loading it on my Wii and it seems to run fine....so it's my computer I'm thinking. Not sure what though, because I've watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice after this a while ago...

Were you downloading anything or running something else when you were streaming it on your computer?
