Shin Chan
Futurama
American Dad (I have Family Guy DVDs, lol)
Ren and Stimpy

Debating on what to watch next...kinda sucks that some of my favorite cartoons aren't on Netflix yet. (the instant thing anyways)

Try some Invader Zim.

Is the Canadian Netflix worth it at the moment? I'm considering getting it but I heard the Canadian version is not as good as the American version.

Rocko's Modern Life.
It's hilarious, well written, and raunchy (well, I wouldn't say raunchy... but it's somewhere along those lines) I remember watching this as a kid, along with Rugrats and CatDog... It's suprising to see all the subliminal messages and the adult references this Cartoon contains; trust me, although Nastalgia may be playing a factor in this recommendation, it is truly worth watching.

@YoungSpice
I heard that the Canadian Netflix has less of a selection then the American one... You should go to Netflix.com, they show all the movies that have been released on Netflix in your Country. If your interested in a couple of movies, then go for it.

I'm so glad I bought Invader Zim on DVD back when it wasn't so rare. (actually, my gf bought it for me) I'm glad it's on Netflix now, though, for those of us who don't own it, since it's pretty expensive and hard-to-find now.

I bought them on DVD awhile back too. Got all the individual volumes on Amazon. Totally worth it xD

The Terminator. And I believe Glory is also instantly-watchable. That one's not bad.

...Ok something's wrong here...I dunno if its just that episode or if its the computer...or what. But one of the epsiodes in Zim won't stream. It starts off with the intro, but about 4 seconds or so in, it stops...and i'm stuck with the "loading" thing sitting there. HALP!

Well I would try it on some other device first. If you are trying to stream it on your PC than try streaming it on your Wii, Xbox or PS3 if you got one or another computer. If not maybe see if you can stream it on a friends computer. It might be your connection but try one of the other devices first to get a better idea.

Too true. It's amazing how ignorant people become once they leave adolescence. They were all doing the same when they were in school.

speaking as an adult who hasn't been paying much attention to the conversation at hand — just like those adolescent years themselves, learning how to cuss is a horribly awkward phase, and it takes time to grind the rough edges away. everyone knows that kids cuss in school, but just because we lived through it too doesn't necessarily mean we feel like reliving the experience in the name of entertainment. 'shock value' is a cheap way to add humor anyway, and the problem is that said humor won't fly with everyone — you win some, you lose some. it's no big deal :3

that said, have i recommended Stargate: SG-1 or Atlantis yet? because they're both amazing and i love them to bits. idk why i didn't watch them when they were on TV (probably work schedule conflicts), but they've got both entire series-es (and the movies iirc) up on Netflix. if you're in the mood to sink to your ears in good sci-fi times, definitely give it a shot.

Stargate: Universe, though... can't recommend it, really. they strayed from the format of the show's previous incarnations and went for a more realistic, gritty feel. i was disappointed :(

I just recently started watching Stargate Voyager... I mean Universe and it seems alright thus far. A bit over the top, but I can see they are really pushing the character development in this one. Can't really judge it yet as I've only watched about 6 episodes. The whole lost and trying to get home thing like Voyager kind of annoys me though. And where the hell are the alien races? I'm sure they are coming but they really should be introduced already.

I might try it tomorrow on my Wii, not gonna worry about it right now. (did the report thing on the Episode anyways)

Does Invader Zim get better as it goes. I watched the first episode and didn't think it was that funny.

@josh: it does, it really does. i'd give it three or four episodes before making the call to stop watching altogether; that's about how long it took for the series to grow on me, anyway :3

There's an amazing documentary on Instant about Pixar called the Pixar Story. If you're an animation fanatic like me (or you just love Pixar) it's a must-watch.

lol Stargate: Voyager... you're right, though. idk why i didn't think of that myself D: D: D:

idk, after watching the entirety of SG-1 and Atlantis, they just changed too much for my tastes. i liked the interaction between the characters, the scathing back-and-forth, the slightly cheesy drama, the 'gotta save the world' story arcs... and of course the aliens. all Universe has so far is some sand bug things from one of the first couple episodes, and those can't hold a candle to the myriad of alien cultures and races in the previous two series.

i think it boils down to Universe having too much straight-up drama and not enough comedy and wit to keep me occupied, y'know? :3

Were you downloading anything or running something else when you were streaming it on your computer?

Nope, nothing that would interfere with the streaming.
EDIT: Since I'm played that episode on the Wii, I moved onto the next episode and its running fine.
