Well I would try it on some other device first. If you are trying to stream it on your PC than try streaming it on your Wii, Xbox or PS3 if you got one or another computer. If not maybe see if you can stream it on a friends computer. It might be your connection but try one of the other devices first to get a better idea.

Too true. It's amazing how ignorant people become once they leave adolescence. They were all doing the same when they were in school.
speaking as an adult who hasn't been paying much attention to the conversation at hand — just like those adolescent years themselves, learning how to cuss is a horribly awkward phase, and it takes time to grind the rough edges away. everyone knows that kids cuss in school, but just because we lived through it too doesn't necessarily mean we feel like reliving the experience in the name of entertainment. 'shock value' is a cheap way to add humor anyway, and the problem is that said humor won't fly with everyone — you win some, you lose some. it's no big deal :3
that said, have i recommended Stargate: SG-1 or Atlantis yet? because they're both amazing and i love them to bits. idk why i didn't watch them when they were on TV (probably work schedule conflicts), but they've got both entire series-es (and the movies iirc) up on Netflix. if you're in the mood to sink to your ears in good sci-fi times, definitely give it a shot.
Stargate: Universe, though... can't recommend it, really. they strayed from the format of the show's previous incarnations and went for a more realistic, gritty feel. i was disappointed

@josh: it does, it really does. i'd give it three or four episodes before making the call to stop watching altogether; that's about how long it took for the series to grow on me, anyway :3

I just recently started watching Stargate Voyager... I mean Universe and it seems alright thus far. A bit over the top, but I can see they are really pushing the character development in this one. idk, after watching the entirety of SG-1 and Atlantis, they just changed too much for my tastes. i liked the interaction between the characters, the scathing back-and-forth, the slightly cheesy drama, the 'gotta save the world' story arcs... and of course the aliens. all Universe has so far is some sand bug things from one of the first couple episodes, and those can't hold a candle to the myriad of alien cultures and races in the previous two series.
i think it boils down to Universe having too much straight-up drama and not enough comedy and wit to keep me occupied, y'know? :3

Ok got sidetracked yesterday....and was busy today....so now I've tried loading it on my Wii and it seems to run fine....so it's my computer I'm thinking. Not sure what though, because I've watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice after this a while ago...

Nope, nothing that would interfere with the streaming. EDIT: Since I'm played that episode on the Wii, I moved onto the next episode and its running fine.

To be honest I dont know if that could be a problem. Especially if Invader Zim works fine on your Wii or Xbox for example and than it doesnt work too good on your PC. If thats the case than I am more inclined to say its your PC. Best bet you can always contact Netflix with your problems and see what they have to say.

Just watched Star Trek (the newer movie). Better than I expected!
I actually liked it but I'm not a Star Trek fan at all so I had nothing to base it off of.
I'm not a Trekkie either but I enjoyed this movie.
i'm a major Trekkie and i enjoyed the hell out of the new movie. there were a few things i wasn't fond of, but overall i think they did a great job with it. we'll see how the next one goes, i guess :3
