Lol better buy a strong pair of nostalgia glasses for those, though. Especially Spy Kids 3D. There's like this ultimate hero guy then he drops a door on himself and dies or something, lol. Gotta love that one.

lol, I used to love Spy Kids when it first came out. The second one was decent and the third was just horrible, though.

Kick-Ass is a good movie. I didn't think it was amazing, as some people did, but I also wasn't disgusted as others were. I mean, really? "oh, noes, a little girl is using adult language and killing people!" It's a freaking movie.

And nobody really knows that at school, most kids are dropping even worse language.

Too true. It's amazing how ignorant people become once they leave adolescence. They were all doing the same when they were in school.

Dude high five. That was the first show on instant my mom and I watched through together. Good times.

If you're talking about Dick Van Dyke then I will high five you back Funny show, one of the best.

Andy Griffith is on streaming too, just added it to my queue Now all streaming needs is I Love Lucy, the greatest sitcom ever, IMO. I already have the complete collection of that, but it would be cool for the youngsters out there to get to watch it. I don't see it on tv anymore.

Anyone who loves film noir should check out The Third Man. One of the all-time greats, and it's instant streaming

Anime fans should check out Eden of the East. I'd heard of it a lot, but I never really checked it out until a couple days ago, and I watched almost the entire series in one night (I would have watched the whole thing, but I had to work in two hours, so I went to bed)

Centurion. Good film, but just a warning. It is very violent. Like Gladiator violent. Still a good film though.

Speaking as someone who has left adolescence, I neither became more ignorant or used foul language when at school.

I've been watching The Stand (based on the Stephen King book). I never managed to catch the first episode when it was on tv, so I'm glad to finally be able to see how the story begins. Hopefully I'll get to episode 3 tonight. I can't wait to watch The Langoliers next.

speaking as an adult who hasn't been paying much attention to the conversation at hand — just like those adolescent years themselves, learning how to cuss is a horribly awkward phase, and it takes time to grind the rough edges away. everyone knows that kids cuss in school, but just because we lived through it too doesn't necessarily mean we feel like reliving the experience in the name of entertainment. 'shock value' is a cheap way to add humor anyway, and the problem is that said humor won't fly with everyone — you win some, you lose some. it's no big deal :3

that said, have i recommended Stargate: SG-1 or Atlantis yet? because they're both amazing and i love them to bits. idk why i didn't watch them when they were on TV (probably work schedule conflicts), but they've got both entire series-es (and the movies iirc) up on Netflix. if you're in the mood to sink to your ears in good sci-fi times, definitely give it a shot.

Stargate: Universe, though... can't recommend it, really. they strayed from the format of the show's previous incarnations and went for a more realistic, gritty feel. i was disappointed

The Stand is indeed good. A lot will say the book is better! The movie is still great though as is The Langoliers. Hope you enjoy.

....Gah, running out of cartoon TV shows to watch...lol. Anybody know any? I've already seen...
Shin Chan
Futurama
American Dad (I have Family Guy DVDs, lol)
Ren and Stimpy

Debating on what to watch next...kinda sucks that some of my favorite cartoons aren't on Netflix yet. (the instant thing anyways)

Rocko's Modern Life.
It's hilarious, well written, and raunchy (well, I wouldn't say raunchy... but it's somewhere along those lines) I remember watching this as a kid, along with Rugrats and CatDog... It's suprising to see all the subliminal messages and the adult references this Cartoon contains; trust me, although Nastalgia may be playing a factor in this recommendation, it is truly worth watching.

@YoungSpice
I heard that the Canadian Netflix has less of a selection then the American one... You should go to Netflix.com, they show all the movies that have been released on Netflix in your Country. If your interested in a couple of movies, then go for it.

I'm so glad I bought Invader Zim on DVD back when it wasn't so rare. (actually, my gf bought it for me) I'm glad it's on Netflix now, though, for those of us who don't own it, since it's pretty expensive and hard-to-find now.

I bought them on DVD awhile back too. Got all the individual volumes on Amazon. Totally worth it xD

Cheezy

The Terminator. And I believe Glory is also instantly-watchable. That one's not bad.

...Ok something's wrong here...I dunno if its just that episode or if its the computer...or what. But one of the epsiodes in Zim won't stream. It starts off with the intro, but about 4 seconds or so in, it stops...and i'm stuck with the "loading" thing sitting there. HALP!
