Topic: That "A-Ha" Moment in Gaming

(I feel like this might have been asked before, but I'll just go ahead with this)

What is your most memorable moment of being confused by a puzzle, suprised by a game mechanic, etc in a game, and how did you solve it? For example, one thing I remember was when I played LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, and I had to transfer the courage symbol (I forget what it is called and when in the game it happened) to my sea chart. I tried everything with buttons and stylus to try to solve it, to no avail. After about 20-30 mins, I gave up and closed my DS to solve it later, and when I did so, I heard a sound. I opened it back up to discover that I was supposed to close the DS to "press" the image onto the map. I thought that was so clever. It was the first time I had seen something like that in a game.

I was amazed when I opened my DS with SM64DS and heard "Itsa mea! Mario!"
I showed it to everyone. It was awesome.

Same thing happened to me. One of mine was on OoT on the Water Temple.... The whole water temple.

I'm not saying let's kill all the stupid people, I'm just saying let's take off the warning labels, and see what happens.

I remember the same exact topic. But I'll go with Etrian Odyssey when I have finally grinded enough to scrape by a boss. Feels good man.

Figuring out certain the puzzles in the Metroid Prime games. Sometimes it'd take me over a half hour at certain ones, then I'd figure it out and feel like my IQ increased. Good times...

Same thing happened to me too! I was getting mad because I couldn't figure it out. I then went to the Fridge to get some food and I closed my Lite and when I opened it I heard that magical noise.

There were multiple times in Skyward Sword, I froget all of them currently.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, when you figured out how to get past the "Marvelous Hall of Moving Walls" in KIU, I do believe I said, "A ha!"

Multiple times in Arkham City I forget about the line launcher. Or I take way too long on the stealth sections. And I couldn't figure out how to place the explosive gel in the Soloman Grundy battle.

One that comes to mind for me was when I thought I'd got stuck on Wii Play. It was on the second mini-game Find Mii, where you have to pick out specific Miis from a crowd. It was all going fine until about Level 6 when you have to "Find 2 odd Miis out". I couldn't find them. The timer ran out and I had to start again. I got back to that level and again I couldn't find them. I kept failing again and again and again. I was starting to panic as the reality dawned; "Oh my God, I'm stuck on Wii Play! The shame of it!" I was trying to keep calm and figure it out. Even though GameFAQs was just a click away, I could not go there. There was no way I was going to resort to a guide for Wii Play. How could I ever live with myself? I imagined the cruel taunts; "Hey look, there goes that hardcore gamer who got stuck on Wii Play."

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I figured it out. I noticed that the crowd of Miis were moving their heads from side to side (as if watching a tennis match), but two of them are moving their heads in the opposite direction to the others (I had actually already noticed that they were moving their heads, but for some stupid reason I didn't think it was relevant...) I was greatly relieved.
