Topic: Thank you thread

Ok I though of this thread idea so if its bad, it gets deleted.

So we basically have thread that are well stuff like chatting, opinions, birthdays etc.

But there's not a topic about thanking someone that made you who you are or that inspired you to be what you wanted to be.
So this thread is about expressing your gratitude to someone who has changed you and you became a better person because of that someone. Now this thread does not apply for families because you rather thank them in person than posting it here. But you can thank your friends or anyone else. You can keep posting anything you want to thank one at a time though.

So I'll start by saying. Thank you Nintendo. You have inspired me to be what I am right now and you of all the companies out there relieve me out of depression because of the way you make games. Charming and fun and I don't want anything else to ruin that for me. You always put a smile in my face even when things go rough for me.

Sure you're just a corporation like everyone else and yes, you exist to make money, but to me, if a game puts a smile in my face, then that's all I ever want and will praise you for working hard on that simple thing that you not only do for me but to anyone who plays your games. I want to be just like you Nintendo and someday, I'm gonna start my own company where I'll be making games exclusively for your products hoping to get rid of depression from everyone else like me.

I think this belongs in a blog more so then here. Besides couldn't you just use the positive of the day thread for this sort of thing?

Or the Chit-Chat thread. But yeah, this is "diary" level stuff, IMO...I mean, I think Artwark would benefit from keeping a general log of positive things in his life, but yeah, we have threads for them already, plus Blogs are a good place for more personal stuff. Or maybe even Facebook. I honestly forgot what people do on Social media sites besides being unpaid advertisers. :/

Also when I saw this thread Jimmy Fallon's Thank you card skit popped into my head.

Please just use the Positive of the Day thread, along with the Chit-Chat thread as @Tasuki suggested.
