That was unexpected. And developers say they won't bring games to Wii because it's under-powered, yet they bring them to the I-Phone.

Now that's pretty cool.

I don't get how that would be fun to control at all. Yeah, cool, the iPhone can run SF4, but who would seriously want to use those crap touch controls?

Just wait 'till they blow it up for the iPad.

The same could probably be said of all iPhone games then. But I agree.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Play it first, then judge it. Sure the controls don't seem ideal, but you haven't tried them.

I've played more than enough iPhone games with on-screen controls to know that they never work as precisely as something like SF4 would demand.

Maybe they put some extra effort into it for street fighter. If you would review Iphone games would you consider them to have bad controls before you play the games?

When it comes to Street Fighter I would be very surprised indeed if it controlled well enough for me to reliably pull off special moves and react with the same speed and precision that virtually any other method of control would.

I don't think all iPhone games have bad controls, but the ones that control well aren't game designs shoehorned onto the platform. It's the same with Wii controls: sometimes the game design is inappropriate for the platform's input. I wouldn't play TvC with motion, why would I play SF4 with touch?

I'm not saying you should play it, or that its going to be good. You where talking about crap controls, you could at least be a bit more nuanced without having played the game, but I understand why you are skeptical and I believe everyone should be.
