nintenden commented on Mario & Sonic's Winter Olympics Outing Shifts 6M:
Mario sells, it would have sold as mutch without sonic in it, sonic is just in this game to fill up the roster of characters and because it is developed by SEGA. They didn't call it Sonic & Mario's Winter Olympics, which is very wise of them. This game is mediocre but has a strong and wide appeal.

@Corbie
9 out of 10 that's very high. Hope you wont dissapoint people by creating such high expectations for this game. I hope your not considering the price and the fact that it is a downloadable game when scoring this game. Because a game should simply be judged by it's quality and how mutch fun it is. Just some scores: Twilight Princess 8, Fire emblem 8, warioland shake it 8, wii sports 8 etc. Art of balance must be way better than these games, or your judgment is influenced by the fact that this is a downloadable game, which leads to acceptance of lower quality and giving high scores like a 9 to games that are only worth a 9 within a certain context. Being cheap and downloadable doesn't make a game any better.

nintenden commented on DS2 Rumour Is Rumour No More:
DSi and DS XL are just other versions of a system that already exists, stop complaining about it, Nintendo is just giving us a choice between different versions. This is going to be a true succesor to the DS.
@Super Smash Bros. Fan1999
The tech is still at a very early stage in development.

@Kawaiipikachu
That's fine, Nintendo doesn't force you to buy anything. A lot of people enjoy their DSi and you can enjoy your DS.

@drift
Nintendo announcing a new system doesn't mean it will be out tommorow or that they will drop support for the DS. Nintendo has a business to run, just be happy they also make creative decisions to make great games that are different from competitors, and not just follow the market but create new trends.

nintenden commented on Developer Allegedly Has DS2 Kit:
quote kawaiipikachu:
The DSi is nothing more than a DS successor with a couple extra features shoehorned in while the propper DS successor is going to bo more powerful than a DS as opposed to having the same dual CPU chip with a different number printed on it it will probably have a Virtual Portable more powerful graphics everything to make it a successor .
@kawaiipikachu
I never said it is a true succesor, it's a different version of the DS. All I am saying is that the extra features are great, and for the little it money it costs more it is a great deal if you don't already have a ds lite.

@Capt N
Change your mentality, DS, DSi, DS XL are the same handheld with different characteristics, so consumers can choose between different versions. The DSi and DS XL are no new handhelds, the new handheld may be completely different from the DS.

Why do you guys worry about WHAT Nintendo will show, I'm exited for new games and new hardware any time.
@Kawaiipikachu
DSi is great, having a menu to choose your mp3's, downloaded games, internet browser, flipnote studio and photos from is great. It's only a bit more expansive than the DS so It's a great deal.
@Mandoble
Haha are you serious, Nintendo is selling a lot of DS and Wii hardware, they are making a lot of money and don't have to worry about anybody.

Leave us alone Oscar!!!

nintenden commented on Sonic Playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2?:
Seriously why would Nintendo add sonic to one of their masterpieces?
It's illogical, Sonic doesn't fit the Mario (galaxy) world and Nintendo is selling Mario games like hot cakes without sonic in them. Sonic is right where he belongs in some spinoffs just to fill up the roster of playable characters.
