Actually from a game I'm working on. Under conversion from Visual Basic to C++ now, and will probably take a while before first beta is out

Can add also that in-game, the starfield in the background is moving in 3 layers. Looks kind of bad as a still image

The closest Ive gotten to pixel art is copy pasting a retro megaman and drawing a somewhat squarish cape on it... mac paint is pretty rudimentary as opposed to gimp which i find much to complex

Well, for pixel art you can leave out most of the advanced features more complex packages such as GIMP, PhotoShop or PaintShop Pro have.

I felt like making something, so I made a hanen-bow-like tree.

Oh, and why exactly is it blurred in my avatar? I kind of like it more like that
EDIT: I just usde an effect on the lumiloop one, so I'm using that one now.
