@Aqueous Thanks for your patience anyway. And if those times are for tomorrow, I could play MK7 for a little while.
@AlbertoC I know, I'm just teasing. Spoilers on this site, woo there was a time it was an everyday thing. I'm talking gaming wise too. I try to avoid them and I don't directly blame anypony.
"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor, Shall be lifted nevermore!"
"I'll just have to STOP. TIME!" - Twilight Sparkle
@ZeroX - She still wants his eyes, sigh.... nope won't be reading any time soon
@Twilight_Crow - I had them up yesterday but left the date open, so yup, we are going tomorrow, so I'll have an hour, then go for about half an hour, then I'm back. I'm in no rush T.C. life isn't going to pass me by me if I have to wait.
@ZeroX - Yes I know, Horus is an Egyptian God, also a yu-gi-oh dragon card. What Horus did eactly is not at the top of my head. Still you wrote Pinkie poisoning him and wanting his eyes, I ended there.
All this talk of drawing and commisions...and I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
Well, neither did I until I started. Very few people are good right off the bat. Honestly, I`ll look at a drawing I did 4-5 months ago, and laugh because of what it looks like. You can`t succeed until you make all of the mistakes, and I still have a lot of mistakes to make. You should start drawing. It`s fun, and ponies are not terribly hard to draw.
@ZeroX - Dark, no. Twisted yes! You write beautifully but I don't want to go on in the graphic world you began to suggest. Unless it gets better I read no farther, I wish I could have done the same with "The Colour Purple" or was wise enough to stop reading "No Water For Elephants". The tone you wrote is grim in a way I'm not use to and I don't want to get sucked in to something as well written as "Death Troopers" again, which still lingers on the edge of my mind shudders.
@Dark_TeeJay - I'm sure you do, you just need to find it. Tare speaks the truth.
@ZeroX - I do but your tone once you get to Pinkie Pie is beyond cruel, I don't want to see where it leads yet and if I do as you suggest it changes, It won't be at midnight when I tried and I'm not thinking straight
Ha, I wouldn't even begin to know where to start drawing those. Like...is it done by a computer program or sonething? idk...
There are 5 essential things that you need to draw on the computer... 1. A computer (duh.) 2. A drawing tablet 3. A drawing program (such as Gimp or Photoshop) 4. Inspiration 5. Patience
@Dark_TeeJay - I'd suggest just a regular pencil, an eraser (you are not to use it if at all possible) and either a nice small sketch or a plain piece of paper (Sketch pad is my suggestion but it's up to you, they are cheap at dollar stores). Then look at something simple, like say your 3ds closed and just draw what you see on the page. Take at least 30 minutes but the longer you wish to go the better, take and shade when you have the outline, counting darker parts as a shadow or deeper colour of what you picked. Then just practice. I can send you little things to try to help practice if you'd like. Don't worry at the start, your hand gets steadier as you go and things slowly start to look better. Your in Squiggles project right? Post things their to show off. It's all for fun and sharing is a great way to let your confidence build and eventually, it just comes to you easily. Swapnote is another good sharing method. The only disadvantage you have is no one else learning to compare with but we could do challenges where we all draw say a pet for a certain time and all submit them at once and have a critique, it's great for seeing what other's tried and improving by seeing other's techniques and trying them to see if they work for you.
@Everypony - The sneak peek I sent bugged me to the point where I gave it a touch up, now everything looks fine but I'm afraid their will be more then Squiggles out to get me, when you see what I did for this one

Actually, I'd argue if you use gimp, you don't need a tablet, though it would certainly make your life easier. The path tool is really all you need, even though I hardly use it.

I started with a box of Bic mechanical pencils, and some paper. You don`t need to use a computer to make nice pictures. Start by tracing stuff. It`s like doing homework. The more you do it, the more sense it makes and you eventually absorb it. But most importantly, don`t ever, ever get discouraged and think you won't be good someday. All you need is patience.
I'll let Gusteau explain. Simply sub-out cooking with drawing. [youtube:9nuOI00fqBQ]
Aqueous, wasn't death troopers a star wars book? What was it about?
