Which is completely unnecessary and still not true. It can't be a fact that someone holds a certain opinion. You can't exactly prove that he means what he says unless we're going to take a lie detector to this thread.

Also, it is incongruous with the rest of his list since he lists another opinion as "Opinion:". This would imply that the above "fact" is not an opinion, given the lack of this heading. It's highly misleading and basically asking for a misunderstand, so I thought I'd point it out.

Either way, it was poorly worded. I didn't really care or think it would trigger a lot of responses... mostly just thought it was an amusing juxtaposition.

Tl;dr: read my posts carefully. (I had to put that at the beginning, cause it seems to be the only way you might see it in your quotes. I'm not going to argue against someone misinterpreting my words when that isn't in the least the point of this thread, so this will be my last post on the issue of my wording.)

I really don't see how I could spell out what I meant any clearer. If the explanation I gave in my last post was not enough, I don't see what would be. I'm well aware that there's a difference between stating an opinion (see part 3 of the post in question) and factually addressing what my opinions are in response to another person's opinion, who actually DID use the word fact to describe it.

I'd start by saying, "Opinion:", since that what you did for the next item in the list. It'd make it more uniform.

Also, you could definitely spell this out a bit clearer:
