Woah, I avoided the media all day long (except Wii), turn on the telly and bam! Newsflash (my imagination starts racing when that happens, doesn't yours?)!

I'm not surprised to see jokes you always get them when a celebrity dies, I find it really distasteful! Everyday I feel the death of others (war, hunger, illness, murder), and it makes me grateful for my comparatively simple life. I'm a cold motherf***** but at least I have some empathy!!!

He shall be missed by many.

I had literally most of today listening to my MJ music, and was going to make Man In the Mirror my new facebook status before I heard this. This is very sad. I will always remember him as one of the greatest musicians ever, if not the greatest. This is regardless of his personal life and issues. The man is a father, a brother, son and friend, and he will be missed.

Hey, enough of the Chicken Brutus bashing. That comment was made before anything "offical" was announced. MJ was such a weirdo anyways, jokes were gonna be made. I loved the guys music too, hes a true legend, but he was a complete nutter!!!

So in a sense I guess it was "too soon," but not in the sense that you mean it.

Also: death does not absolve you of the crappy things you've done to other people--especially children--in your life. Fact.

Man this really sucks. I'm just shocked! I was a pretty big fan of his music but I didn't like to admit it. His personality was a bit freaky that's for sure. People were so cruel to him and unfairly judged him all the time. He didn't deserve the hell he was put through. At least now he is free. I wonder how long fans will be insisting he faked his death like when Elvis died. I still know some idiots who can't accept Elvis is dead. It's pretty cut and dried about Michael though. R.I.P. you poor tortured soul.

What really got me was how he died so suddenly. Even though they got him to the hospital in 4 minutes, they still couldn't save him. RIP Prince of Pop. You will be missed. It's just too bad that he couldn't have left this earth with a cleaner slate.

Fact: Not proven guilty, first case had investigation closed due to lack of evidence, second case he was acquitted of all charges.

Fact: In my belief, the death penalty should be reserved for those who endanger the defenseless, "the defenseless" includes (especially) children. No one is above that, no matter what. So had guilt been confirmed, i would not be as soft on him and strong against people who insinuate things contrary to the court of law that tried him.

Opinion: I would not make a joke on the subject of someone's death, confirmed or not, unless they were absolutely one of the most terrible people of all time. I guess we should agree to disagree on our tastes.

The Michael Jackson I know and love, has unfortunately been dead for some time. But the young lad inside me who hammered the Bad tape till it broke, will never forget him. Looking at the media coverage this morning, I doubt I'll be given chance to.
