Just caught up on my Nintendo news for the past few days, but I have fourteen pages of unread posts. It's going to take too long to go through them all, so someone summarize what happened on the forum for me. If there is anything I need to read for myself, mark it as a spoiler and link me to the original page. Thanks. I hope you guys were okay while I was gone.
Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Chicken Brutus is now a moderator and Bit Boy ain't all that, nothing else to report.
This is good

He's a moderator? Oh boy. I'm going to have to start being nice to him, I guess.
I glanced at the review comments of Bit Boy (didn't read the review yet, but will). I saw WiiLoveIt defending it and was about to post without reading anything, "So how much are they paying you?" but saw someone else (who actually meant it) accused him of something similar. Glad I missed that conversation.
I am still holding out hope for that game, so I will make sure to read WLI's comments and try to forget that he actually likes Niki Rock N Ball.

You missed a very "interesting" discussion between AlexSays and Eugenewrayburn. It seems that things got so heated that the mods removed the entire thread. It was pretty entertaining!

Yeah that was a very one-sided discussion.
I just wish he would have answered my last question before running off.

People have continued to disguise wishful thinking as predictions when guessing what releases will come to North America tomorrow.
You shouldn't have done that.

I don't want to stir up trouble, so don't go into detail, but what was the topic of this vanishing thread? I wonder if I even saw it before it went away.

Oh man, Eugene should know better than to stir the pot when I'm not at home to watch. I am so disappointed in him. What was his latest thesis? Or is it something I'd be better off not knowing?

@Adam: You did mention you were going away if I recall, and left the door WIDE open. He was ready!
EDIT: MUST go to sleep, nite.

Same ol' stuff.
Nintendo isn't lazy, everyone takes them for granted, Nintendo is awesome, blah blah blah.
All because they're making a couple new Marios, which we tried to explain aren't even hard to make. The engine and everything are already done for both games, they just needed new levels.
Then he said I shouldn't buy any games because I think some of their games are lazy. I told him that made no sense. Then he asked me why I buy their lazy games. So I asked him what lazy game did I ever buy, and he never came back.

Oh, that old chestnut. Yes, I do remember that thread now; didn't even realize it was gone.

In all honesty, I do believe this forum needs a Hall of Fame, to archive the truly special threads for all eternity.
16. Posted: Mon 6th Jul 2009 01:32 BST
And the thread started with him saying in his first post, how he didn't wish to start any kind of argument.
Oh, and he tried to refute Iwata's claim (yeah the president of Nintendo) that the Wii is unhealthy in Japan.
It was a great thread.
Yeah I wish they just locked it instead of deleting it.

I hadn't seen that thread. What was the screen name you were fighting with, AlexSays? I somewhat doubt it was actually EugineWrayburn come back...
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

Well, if I had to go by the word of Nintendo's president or a twice- (perhaps thrice-?) banned forum user, I know who I'd turn to.
Eugene, of course.
EDIT: Stuffy, as much as I hate to say this, I definitely know Eugene's posts when I see them, and he was (or is?) indeed back. Forgot the user name already, though.

Uh, he pretty much came right out with it. lol
It was him. Under the alias mrmicawber.
20. Posted: Mon 6th Jul 2009 01:51 BST
There have been too many "return of Eugene" jokes lately, and not all of them were actually him. If he came out and admitted it this time, that's another story.
