yeah. 'twas just some lighthearted fun (it's actually my brother and i ). in all seriousness, i think there is a lot of good music being put out today. i personally have always preferred classic rock, but that's mostly because of the style of music and guitar, and not so much for the lyrics. i love alot of classic rock lyrics, too, but as far as that goes, as well as some effective uses of actual music, there is as much quality stuff being put out as there has been in the past. there is a lot of crap, but there always has been. it's just that people now are alot more open in their questionable (to say the least) thematic matter. they really don't care what they sing about or how explicitly they do so. in earlier times, that was more frowned upon (you still had it, but it was far more subtle) and so the crap from those generations are just poorly written lyrics and melodies.
