As far fetched as can be but I'd love to see the 'Virtua' series of arcade classics by Sega AM2 make a comeback.A new Racing,Striker,Fighter and Cop in the original 3D polygonal style but brought up to modern standards.
A new Amped and Skate game would be nice too, as I love both skateboarding and snowboarding.
Why Amped and not 1080?
I'd actually like another THPS as much as Skate, but THPS5 is everything the series wasn't. Which was to be expected as it was developed by the same people who did the previous weak Tony Hawk games. But this one might actually the worst game in the entire series.
A new Burnout would be awesome.
Also, has anyone else heard of De Blob? Well, De Blob sure deserves a revival.

@OorWullie: Virtua Fighter is actually still around. As for Racing, Cop, and fighter though, they sure could use a comeback.

@Smash_kirby: That's a good one indeed, hadn't thought about some NES classics. The Mysterious Murasame Castle is something I want to see return. Hideki Kamiya expressed interest in that game a while ago.
For me I would love to see an Earthworm Jim remake. I enjoyed that game for the humor when i played it on the SNES. Another game for me would be Pokemon Colosseum and the Conker Series
I went through all of my retro games, and anything worth having a continuing franchise already does. I mean, games like Wave Race 64 and Pokémon Snap were fun, but I don't think I would care to play another sequential game.
2D Metroid. It is a shame that the last 2D Metroid game was a remake of the original releasing back in early 2004. Start the revival off with a new 2D Metroid (doesn't need to be Metroid V) then bring out a remake of Metroid II if that's absolutely necessary. Really though, I want Metroid releases back on pace to the way they were between 2002 and 2007 when the franchise got 7 high quality releases across two console/handheld generations.
