My favorite video game track would have to be either Running Hell or Mimiga Town from Cave Story. Both are pretty good.

Here are a couple of my favorite tracks from one of my new favorite games:

VVVVVV - Pushing Onwards

VVVVVV - Passion for Exploring

That game has a lot of great music. Moonsong might be my favorite, although Running Hell is right there with it.

I recently rediscovered these music tracks from a game I haven't played in a very long time. It was surprisingly good for a licensed game and had some cool music to boot. Too bad I traded away my Gamecube version years ago.

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (SpongeBob's Dream)

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (Poseidome or Robot Sandy Battle)

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (Industrial Park or Robot Patrick Battle)

SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (Final Boss)

Final Fantasy XII isn't normally brought up when talking about great FF soundtracks (part of that being due to the almost impossible standards set by earlier games, and also a deliberate effort to make XII's music less catchy and not draw attention away from what's happening on screen), but it still has some pretty strong tracks of its own, imo:

Rabanastre Lowtown
Giza Plains
Phon Coast
