@RR: How about putting the listed gems in the original post

Done

(Since this is for eShop only games, DSiWare is excluded.)

Like I said before, you should rank these by the amount of recommendations they get.

In which I will recommend Art of Balance: Touch again

I haven't played Bomb Monkey, but the ratings seem a little underwhelming, so I have been meaning to pick it up and see how it is.

I like the idea, but I won't be doing it.

The reason is, everytime a thread tries that (from what I've seen), the thread eventually crumbles. I've never saw a thread like that last more than a week.

Art of Balance is overlooked?
If so, then I'll vote for it. I had a great time with it.

Best thread ever

Bumping.

Although you said DSiWare is excluded, I still desire for X-Scape to be put on this list 7 times. Seriously, no DSiWare matches the quality of that game, or even most DS retail or 3DSWare games.

It seriously deserves to be on this list, moreso then any other game.

Also, there's not many eShop games anyways.

Eh, I'll go ahead and include DSiWare as well.

Also (this goes out to everyone), what games should be eligible for "hidden gem" status? I was thinking that we could nominate games that have less than 1,000 eShop ratings, but do you think games with less than 1,500 or less than 2,000 eShop ratings would be better?

EDIT: DSiWare is now included (on the original post, all DSiWare entries will be marked with a "*").
Also altered the thread's name to better get the point across.

draculas undead awakening, this is a dsiware title yet I played over 24 hours on it, its just as great or greater then undead storm, it may not have achievements or local multiplayer but it got a level up system and it got 5 unique modes. In my book its on of the best dsi ware out there.

Digger Dan on DSiWare certainly managed to fly under the radar. Got a great review on this site and all user feedback I've seen has been positive.

Coming very soon to Nintendo 3DS via the eShop.

I haven't got it yet, but the positive reviews make me want to. Hopefully you managed to make profit, I'd hate to see good devs fail to make money (like I've seen with Hugo Smits)

All it cost me to make was my spare time, so a profit for me, yeah. Not saying I don't want more profit, though....

I've been playing Starship Defense a ton since getting it from club nintendo. Not a looker, but an incredibly well thought out game that mixes up the tower defense formula up enough to feel fresh. Great game!

Bomb Monkey is highly addictive.

Ivy the Kiwi is probably one of my favorite eshop games. Made by Yu Suzuki the creator of sonic the hedgehog. Great music and simple yet mechanicly sound gameplay.

Starship Defense & Ivy the Kiwi? Mini, added.

Also, still looking for what we should use as a "ruler" for deciding whether or not a game is a "hidden gem". I'm thinking about using eShop ratings (while not indicative of quality, they do give a rough idea of how well a title has sold). I was thinking about making the "hidden gem" status available to only games that have less than 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000 eShop ratings. Which do you think is the best indicator.
