Hmmm. Not on WiiWare. The problems with that platform are well documented, but 3DS Ware - I'd be interested in that.

If they'd been 2 minutes long, we'd have been waiting even longer for them to show up.
@Victoria - That's a good point, they may show up for paid download at some point. I'd get them all for my son, I think. He loves them.

@Benedict - Try changing your region setting in the system menu, you may be able to at least access internet services that way. Not sure it'll help with the Nintendo Zone thing, though.

I'm tempted to keep sending my 3DS system in for the free evaluation. They'll send it back with a report that nothing is wrong and hopefully a ton of StreetPass hits from all the Nintendo staff....

@Victoria - Move to Newcastle! That worked for me. Every time I go to the city or the Metro(id) Centre, I always get 2 or 3 hits, usually people with pink pieces that I don't have.

I put the Konami code into Digger Dan as a way to unlock all the levels quickly during development. Pretty sure it was removed for release, though.

Just bought this after playing the demo. I never would have even considered it without having played the demo.

Let that be a lesson to you, Nintendo! Demos are good! Now, just let me get a demo of Digger Dan on the eShop....

I'm fairly certain that I contributed about 5% of that bank balance with all the DS games I bought.

I really wasn't that interested in this game until watching the 13 minute long video by the producer on the eShop yesterday. The multiplayer looks really involved, although I probably wouldn't play multiplayer that much, but the amount of work and content that has been put into the overall package is really tempting me.

If only I didn't have to buy a house right now.

Also, doesn't this one support the circle pad pro thing? There was no mention of it on the video.

So, back to what I said in comment 32 - Team Meat got it wrong.

And some Vita download games are already 2GB? Yeah? I feel bad for Vita owners, then. At least on 3DS you aren't as likely to need to buy a new memory card quite so soon and if you do need to, at least you won't need to take out a mortgage to afford it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I've played some fantastic games with hours of gameplay that take up less memory than my animated avatar icon. Yeah, more capacity does increase the potential for more levels, better audio and a video, but you don't need that much more than the Wii's 40MB limit to add more levels. I can live without fantastic audio and FMV cutscenes, particulalry in download games.

Sorry to disappoint, but Team Meat have the figure wrong.

I think (based on earlier rumours from staff that were pretty much confirmed) it's the suppliers who won't give Game any more credit to buy stuff with.

I'll be glad to see them sink - if you have any gift cards or other credit in the company, time to cash it in, I say.

Well, I know of one developer who is moving from Vita to 3DS, but one doesn't really mean much.

I'm glad the restriction for demos is 30 plays and not 30 minutes otherwise you'd only be able to get through about a quarter of the intro cutscene in the demo before it cut out.

Happy Birthday to me, it seems. I'll be getting Wario Land and giving the demo a try, even though I've never enjoyed a Metal Gear game since the 2D versions.

Pretty bad that Nintendo missed it as well. The pick up spelling mistakes in the electronic manuals and marketing materials.

Don't forget Eutechnyx. I seem to think all they do is racers, but nobody ever seems to have heard of them or know what they make.

There are a few categories there for which I've bought nothing this year. Bet you can't guess what I picked for DSiWare...

Best GBA game ever.

It isn't a case of "lazy ports". The games run the hardware in DS mode, not 3DS mode, hence why no Street Pass and why when you shut them down, it takes a while for the menu to populate again - the 3DS hardware is effectively rebooting fully.

I know nothing of this game, but I've just read "Developer: Intelligent Systems" and that is good enough for me.

Can't wait to test out the eStore's new background downloading feature with these babies.

Is there only ever going to be 3DS demos, or is there a possibility of DSiWare demos?

@Nick - does it transfer everything? Play time records, Mii Plaza progress etc?

OMG - Updated 3 systems this morning, no problem. Oddly the wife's system already had the update downloaded and just needed to apply it which took seconds. Totally forgot about the StreetPass Mii Plaza though! Loading now...

Yeah, but on someone else's system, so you don't have to pay. Not a 10/10 game and not worth the money (in comparison to other DSiWare titles).

I seem to remember that the original wording suggested that the GBA games would begin to be delivered before the end of the year, ie only 1 of them had to be available before the end of this month.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they get drip fed to us one by one over next year.

I love it how as soon as any company manages to release a successful genuinely new idea for a game, a dozen cheap crappy rip off versions spring up almost overnight. Or in the case of Nintendogs, a million crappy rip offs.

Having said that, this one seems to have pretty good production values and some of the puzzles shown in the screens and videos at least try to do stuff that Layton hasn't yet (unless they are in the 3DS Layton and I just don't know about it yet).

Anyway, meh from me too. CBA with these puzzle games any more.

All they needed to do was keep the MK DS code and stick in some new tracks, as far as I'm concerned.

Personally, I think that if Nintendo made Rhythm Heaven for mobile, or any other franchise that actually fits the hardware (ie, not Zelda or Mario which need physical controls), then that would only be a good thing.

Too many games. Skyward Sword and SM3DL both arrived today already, now Kirby 3D and MK7 just 2 weeks away.

Makro is supposed to be a cash & carry, generally for small shopkeepers, but it's not the most difficult thing to get a card and their prices generally aren't that much better than you can buy at the supermarkets for. £90 is sweet, though. Shame I already have enough 3DS systems.
