Topic: Which G/S remake are you getting?

I had both Silver and Gold (plus Crystal). I got Silver first though so as a tribute to that great day I'll purchase Soul Silver.

Back then I had Gold, but Silver always appeared slightly cooler to me. (mainly due to Lugia).

I liked some Gold exclusives like Ariados, but I cant remember if it fought that well...

I'll probably opt for Gold on day 1 but will definitely get Silver sometime later on.

I am getting Soul, since my first Pokémon game was Silver.

I'll probably get SoulSilver, followed approximately 2 seconds later by HeartGold!

Otherwise, it'll be same as above, but switch HeartGold and SoulSilver around

I don't hate Pokemon by any means, it's just not my thing. I picked up Diamond to see what all the fanfare was about, and while it was alright (I played it for just over 20 hours, and didn't beat it, it definitely gets points for the time you can put into it), it just got too redundant for me.

I know there are a lot of people who are excited about these upcoming remakes, and I'm glad for them. If Nintendo was remaking games from the past that I greatly enjoyed, I'd be excited too.

HeartGold. I originally got Gold....so yeah.

@ReZon: While i understand where your coming from the D/P/Pl is not the best representation of the series. Gold and Silver were by far the best of the games.

HeartGold without a doubt. Ho-Oh beats Lugia any day. Lugia is barley legendary.

You get both Lugia and Ho-Oh anyway, it doesn't matter, really.

How many people actually buy the two games, or have with others in the series? Just thought I'd throw that out there.
