I was checking the list of DSiWare games and applications (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_DSiWare_games_and_applications) and right at the bottom of the Apps section it says that the SlingPlayer is coming to DSiWare (no date). Seeing as Wikipedia has been "reliable" in the past, i'm quite skeptical about this. Do you think it's true? Or even Possible?
it looks like some kind of audio video player i did a little research on what wiki says and they saying that it uses high speed internet to send audio files and video files over the air to the current system. sounds extremely intresting.

But the question is, can the DSi pull it off? It is on popular smartphones like Blackberry and iPhone, so it MAY happen, but i'm not getting my hopes up.
the dsi COULD pull it off if the software was optimised for the system. Im not getting my hopes up either since the only source I can find is wikipedia.

I checked out the site. From what i could tell, its similar to the location free player on the psp. Also, it requires that you buy a system that i assume hooks up to your tv, and broadcasts the signal over the internet, allowing you to watch tv anywhere you have internet. Overall, it seems pretty cool
