Topic: Chrono Trigger or FFIV?

When the roads clear up (Cause it's been snowing down here in NC.) I'll be going to GameStop to get a Pikachu-Colored Pichu, and while I'm there I'm going to trade in a game to get a new one. I've also recently fallen in love with RPGs, so I need help in making a decision.
Should I get Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy IV? Review scores and/or personal opinions are accepted.

Chrono Trigger is infinitely better, in my opinion. both are great games, but FFVI is FAR better than FFIV, and Crono Trigger could beat the snot out of FFVI by farting.

From what I know Chrono Trigger is oftenly highly regarded as the best RPG by most people and at least better than FFIV, and from personal playtime on Chrono Trigger its a great game that I highly recommend, but I haven't played FFIV.

if you've never played CT before, definitely pick that up. if you've already played CT, though, get FFIV. if you've played both... you can't go wrong, really.

I love both, but I have a very strong history with Chrono Trigger that can't be explained in mere words. So I definitely would go for Chrono Trigger.

FFVI? Better than FFIV? I lol'd so hard.

I've never played Chrono Trigger before, though I really want to. I have FFIV for DS and FFVI for GBA, though, and both are really awesome games. I agree with bro2dragons, that FFVI is WAY better than FFIV. FFIV's difficulty is really up there imo, and is the reason I haven't beat it yet. While FFVI is still pretty hard, it has slightly more character development and one helluva addicting story. And the mode-7 graphics techniques just blow you away. The choice is yours, though, since they are all great games.

Chrono Trigger, and if you do try to get FFIV go for the Advance (GBA) version.
It's much better than the DS one.

Chrono Trigger is a must-buy.

I like both of them equally. They are both really good.
