Think of it as a really simplified Fire Emblem game

Ah so its a strategy type game. Well that will probably do it for me since I suck at these type of games and get bored of them very quickly.

I find this game very fun, and it seems like a great bang for its buck.

I am halfway through the first chapter, and I wanted to know if there some sort of boss near the end of each chapter. I am anxious to see your review but my personnal score is 9/10.

Not quite bosses, but there are certain characters you fight that are a bit stronger than the average enemy. The format of the battles remains constant though.

I am about halfway through the second chapter, and loving it. While its as story driven as Fire Emblem, its still crazy fun and worth all of the four bucks it costs. Also I love how its not just turns but when characters move is based on their speed!

What a little cracker! just finished it and have only just realised there are hidden characters to collect as well! Well worth the money and a nice dose of character in there also... guess its time to buy fire emblem xD

There are hidden characters? Good God, looks like I'll be playing this for a while. How many chapters are there, btw?

There are 4 chapters and up to now it took me 2 1/2 hours so I'll be looking at roughly 10 hours to complete the game.

has to remind self these are game gear games cant expect a 40 to 50 hour game out of a game gear game

I actually played and beat this as a kid. Otherwise I'd get it for sure.

Okay, I did get this. I finished the First Chapter and soon after found that The Power Glove is so Bad it got a cameo, lol.

Yeah that's me. Based on your comments in that thread you played Awakening similarly to me-used similar strategies, difficulty settings, etc. I tend to agree with your assessment of stuff that I've seen you comment on, and since this is in the same genre as Awakening (of sorts), I figure if you like it I might also.

Still in chapter 1 on the map where you first meet Graham and get Slade. So far I find it an interesting early handheld TBS game. Gameplay wise its much more forgiving than fire emblem since you keep all your experience even if you lose a level.
