I really want it! My guess why it isn't here is because maybe Nintendo didn't think it would appeal to the European crowd...Or maybe Nintendo is just being lazy...

They should just not translate any of there games and make people who wanna play it play it in Japanese, I'd actually be ok with that

@Ganmaku I Know how you feel Bro. There's never really anything I want to seriously download and when there is, it's like $18 over here, seriously, $18NZD for Dillon's Rolling western, and I was gonna buy that the day it was released.

Its probably 1/4 the price in the US. If you can stand waiting for your games to arrive in the mail it makes business sense to import. You'd get the system cheaper to begin with, I think they're under 200 on US ebay.com
It's 9.99 in the states, I believe. Google says that should about $12 in NZ... so the over pricing isn't quite as bad as you think. It is still ridiculous though.
The AU eshop is garbage really. For example: this week the only new addition is Kirby's Star Stacker. I regret not importing an XL from the US now.
That's actually a really good idea, except you have to import cartridge games now...
But you do know that you could actually access the EU shop even on your Australian 3DS? You just change your region setting to a european country and it'll let you access it's shop, which does have some things that the AU one doesn't have (Shantae: Risky's Revenge is a great example). I did that, and have some great titles I couldn't get on the AU shop!

I figured out that everything in the AU shop is 1.5 times more expensive, because DWR here is $15, but only $10 in America.
So 100 Nintendo Points is $1 in America, but $1.50 in Australia.
This doesn't make much of a difference with, for example, Bird Mania 3D, which is $2 in America and $3 in Australia, but with DWR, $10 in America and $15 in Australia, it can make a substancal difference.

It's more or less the same region as Europe, although some (read: most) publishers opt out of releasing games on our eShop because we have a separate and confusing ESRB system. Examples include Nicalis, Sabarasa, Teyon, Gamebridge, Wayforward to an extent. It's probably easier to list publishers which do actually make releases here, which include CIRCLE ENT., Gamelion and Nintendo themselves.
And of course games are 1.5x as expensive despite currency rates being pretty even, but it's not like complaining will fix that.
But back on topic - Does Nintendo actively plug Sakura Samurai on the NA eShop, or is it kind of brushed aside? I dunno, maybe they're trialing it in that region first or something.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I'd say it get's more exposure than Rolling Western, but just a tad less than Pushmo (advertising wise). They even have IGN's 9.0/10 slapped on it's image (same for Pushmo).

I don't even think Sakura Samurai even was announced for EU. If it was at a time, could someone link me to it? Maybe someone could then email NOE to get a update.

I don't think Nintendo ever said a word about the European release but I at least do want to find out why it isn't out!

Give me SSF4+5 capcom or else you WILL be sorry because SSFIV:3D sucked!
Not changing my statements until mario party 1 gets on the virtual console.
^I'm wondering if they didn't have some sort of legal issue. That's the only possible reason I can think of to change the name (that would also possibly explain the delay).
