Topic: What would you do IF Nintendo/GF made a Pokemon game with all the regions but announced it would be their last Pokemon game ever?

To be honest i would freak out about the fact that they would release a game with all regions but knowing that it will be the last game ever would make me cry for hours my favorite franchise gone forever would make my heart stop beating and corrupt my soul and possibly drive me insane...

The thing that makes pokemon games good in each installment is something new added, if they created a game like that it would be nothing we're unfamiliar with other than maybe megas or new mechanics like oras's soar.

Also, too much of something is a bad thing.. I haven't even finished HGSS's kanto or the original ruby/sapphire.. let alone I'm expected to complete this game? Ain't got time for that heck I may find myself speed running oras.

Too be honest I have no idea what they can even do anymore.. oras pretty much did everything and I doubt an x/y third installment can compete.

i would legit cry because pokemon has helped me go through so some of the hardest times of my life and if it was going to stop my whole world would just fall apart.

I would be totally cool with that actually. I've always really enjoyed to feeling of adventure you get from Pokemon games, and it feels like that sense of adventure has been lessened with recent entries. I think that opening up a massive world with all regions would give the player a lot of freedom to just roam the world and discover new things.

With such a large game, I don't think I would ever really need a new Pokemon game. Hell, I had crystal 15 years ago, and I still don't think I've seen everything.

It'd be odd not to see a new game every year- but I honestly don't feel compelled to buy new Pokémon games after a gen's first entry, simply because HGSS are still my favourites, easily. Pokémon following you is too cool to ignore and it has a huge overworld that's really fun to run around. Plus, it feels really detailed and some of the extras- namely Pokéwalker and PokéAthlon- are fairly good.
But going back to it from newer gens with more Pokémon, faster battle systems and new battle features like HAs, it already feels a bit dated and I wish it had those features. I'd love a more up-to-date game with the things I liked in HGSS... I'd rather have one polished Pokémon game that had most of the things I liked from various gens and a great single-player postgame, than so many frequent games that pile on new features. There are already so many things to do in Pokémon games, I really think we don't need many more additions and that more polish would be better.

So, I'd be glad, I guess. It kinda depends what's in the game aside from it having all regions, which would be cool and probably last quite a while, but could get boring once it was beaten.

last pokemon will never happen, pokmemon silver and gold were supposed to be the last ones in the series. But money just seemed too irresistible. Gamefreak is in it for the long run.

Buy it, finish it, go up to them and tell them to make a new game or else I come again. And then if they resist... Who am I kidding? I'm to threatening to them so they say yes anyways

it wouldn't really be gone forever. it's not like all the pokemon games you own will disappear or be taken away by your government. you still have hundreds of hours of adventure in all those carts.

I would buy it... Not like I can dissuade Nintendo/GF from quitting, right? Might as well play the game. Nothing else I can do.

Be relieved that I no longer have to buy it anymore. I love pokemon but its getting perilous catching them all and tranfering every new gen. A good ending would be welcome since I've been playing since 1998's Red and Blue.

If it is that big it better be on wii U. but honestly I'd be ok with it. I personally feel pokemon has gotten too bloated. So if it ended I wouldn't be devastated.

I'd rather them make the episode where Ash finally grows up.
