Many beg Nintendo to have a system account to protect most of the data for ourselves.
But I have a few tips that can help Nintendo very much.
1. Have a sort of a hard drive that copies 3DS data to the computer for safe keeping. Its much easier to store lots of data on the computer than on the 3DS since It can only give so little space regardless.
2.Have a password input system installed as soon as the 3DS is turned on. That way, Its hard for hackers or the ones who stole it to access the 3DS hardware.
So far these are my ideas so what about yours? How do you think Nintendo ought to help us from getting our stuff lost/stolen?
I think this is something Nintendo is aware of. I get the feeling a unified account system is in the works behind closed doors deep inside Nintendo Headquarters. Call it a hunch.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I left mine at the train station yesterday...luckily, I live in a really nice town and it was handed in straight away. Shame they turned it off to conserve battery, though, could have done nicely on the streetpass!

Here in holland if you go to the police and report it stolen, go to nintendo with another 3ds the police report and the serial number they will restore your purchases.
On future handhelds I'd like a feature like Find My iPhone. Probably not possible on the 3DS because it has to be built with the feature in mind, but it's still something I'd like to see.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Just dont lose your iphone and problem solved!
Prople who need find my iphone is really just weird because it's so useless

I second this. I'd also like for Nintendo to build a giant satellite laser to vaporize the people who stole said 3DS...which would mean they'd have to make one heavy-duty, laser-proof 3DS. It'd be much more difficult to break! Genius!!!

Just don't get your iPhone stolen and the problem is solved too!

You've never used it, have you? Because it really is handy.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
Make account based system with Nintendo Cloud storage for save files would be awesome.
That would be cool but nintendo would rather take away 3DS's portability instead.
