Why hasn't my 3DS clock been automatically switched over to Standard Time (in the United States), and how do I get it to do it?

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

just go into the date and time settings and alter it yourself, Nintendo may have forgotten to program it to do it automatically (them being japanese and being smart enough not to use DLST, the whole thing is a stupid idea really...)

Daylight Savings Time is better than Standard Time with more daylight when most people are awake. If you don't like the time changes, then petition for DST time year round, but don't get rid of it. Having it for 8 months while dealing with the time changes is better than not having it at all.

Why weren't they making us do this dumb time change thing a few years ago?
We suddenly need more hours of daylight now but before it wasn't an issue?
Now I've gotta go all around my house looking for clocks to reset.
Big pain in the if you ask me.

The Wii aparently doesn't reset the time on it's own either so I gotta fix that and the 3DS clock.
Not to mention my stereo and VCR. (yeah I still have one LOL.)
Those are always fun to reset.

Actually, in the long run, it wastes energy and other resources, it was one of Ben Franklin's few bad ideas, plus it causes all sorts of chaos when you're dealing in international business and trying to set up meetings between time zones (as frequent changes makes things confusing),

Next time let's set all the clocks forward half an hour and have done with it.

People say "Oh, I get an extra hour of sleep" yeah, not really because you dont really notice it. I woke up at 11 like I always do and felt no different. they should just leave the time as is. Kinda miss how it was pretty dark at 8 in the morning. hated waiting at the bus stop with the sun in your face at freaking 5-6 am wtf.

I liked the time change in the UK recently. I was on my laptop late at night and had forgotten about the time change and was thinking, "I guess I should come off my laptop soon as it will be 2:00 am soon" but then I saw it go back to 1:00 and spent another hour on the internet.
