YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta love all the 3DS love Atlus has given us over these last four years! I've had my eye on this one since it was announced and released in Japan. Glad to see it is getting such a quick turn around for the Western launch! I'll probably end up pre-ordering it pending on whether it'll get the 'Atlus Tax' and the preorder box bonuses.

Just read that myself, totally looking forward to this title. I like the pop-up book art style it has going, has a Bravely Default look to it as well that I don't mind!

Traditional JRPG with decent music and no Atlus tax? I'm all in. It has been awhile since I've bought an Atlus-published title, anyhow (after buying almost nothing BUT Atlus titles in 2013 and early to mid 2014).
I am going to wait until my birthday or Christmas to get this game. I usually get money for both my birthday and Christmas so I will get it at either time. It`s not out until fall according to Atlus.
Just so people know, this isn't an Atlus developed game. It's by FuRyu, who previously made Unchained Blades (and a buttload of anime licensed games). This one in particular had a lot of staff who previously worked on Square classics like the SaGa series and the Chrono games.
Yeah I know but they do often choose good games to localize.
Actually...no, they're pretty hit or miss with the games they publish. They've been doing better recently because they've been sticking to games they developed themselves. The few from other developers they've published on the 3DS for instance consist of...Code of Princess, Attack on Titan, and Conception II. Not bad games, but not really memorably good ones, either.
Not to say this is the same game, but it'll definitely require more research before people put money down. I mean, it's been billed as "the game from the guy who worked on a lot of SaGa games". Freakin' SaGa, man. That alone should cause people to hit the breaks and look both ways before they cross into the hype zone...
Despite it's ties to classics with awesome storylines, apparently this game barely even has one... http://kotaku.com/the-legend-of-legacy-doesn-t-live-up-to-its...
And it's really hard, lacking save points. http://kotaku.com/the-legend-of-legacy-is-one-hard-jrpg-16841...
Famitsu gave it an 8/9/8/9, so... I'd say that translates to around a 75 average score overseas.
I'm still pretty hyped for it though, it feels like all RPGs nowadays try to "change the system" in some stupid way that gets annoying really fast. Some classic gameplay can ironically feel like a breath of fresh air.
Currently bored (while change when I stop being bored)
