I paid 40$ for it, which is a little steep in my opinion. The games not bad, but it's not really good enough to justify the 40$ price tag. I would've much prefered 30$.

What are the returning modes anyway? I got the game, but have to wait till later tonight to actually get it. Is "Push" in this version? (forget exactly what its called) Was one of my favorite modes from the DS game.
This game has more in common with the Tetris Party games than Tetris DS. I think the only modes you'll recognize from TDS are marathon and battle, and even those have changed somewhat.
Ah well...Tetris is still Tetris. lol has the game now ...Where's my "Type B" music?! T.T

I originally was going to pass on this at $30, but Target has a sale this week where you pay that but you get $10 instantly on a gift card making it technically $20 so I couldn't skip it. I really like some of the modes in this like the maraton, bombliss for sure, and that climber one is harder but fun as are a few others. I hate how it's getting a range of 7-9 for reviews, not the base number, but the 7s coming from whiners pissing and moaning it isn't a suck-up again to the 8bit NES era calling it too basic, and that the retro jams are gone and in place is a return to the classical music type scores with a little modernization to it. Pretty damn petty to me, but whatever. Personally I'm highly tempted to run a wire to my laptop and make some nice high quality MP3s of the music as it really does need a stand alone soundtrack to enjoy.
