Hey @square-enixFan .. I added ya earlier, add me back when u can. Tetris lover here..
I love this game, too. I play it all the time. I also got the original Gameboy version today, which has a much more difficult game mechanic than this game. Tetris: Axis is an awesome game to show your friends, though, the grand capabilities of the 3DS. I am a huge Tetris fan and adore this game completely. You're right though, there are bits where the learning curve is pretty overwhelming! I actually wish they would have included a stage from Tetrisphere (from N64) one of my other favorite Tetris offshoot games. It's so fun! And I miss it greatly!
3DS Friend Code: 4511-0578-9918 (User name: Grumble) If u add me let me know so I can add you back ;) Current Favorites: NSMB 2, CrossWords Plus, Art Academy: Lessons For Everyone, Donkey Kong, Mario Golf, Balloon Pop Remix, Precipice, Digidrive, Art of Balance: Touch, Speed X3D, R...
So is Tetris Axis worth it if you already have Tetris Party? Or is it better than that game?
Tetris Party Live is pretty much the same basic game, but Tetris Axis has 20+ modes that you can play (different Tetris games) PLUS the mode that is included in Tetris Party... PLUS it's in 3-D and it looks amazing, PLUS it has some great music I actually play both! (Party and Axis) and I also got the Gameboy Tetris today on 3DS VC. You could call me a Tetris fiend, I guess. LOL Each version offers a slightly different way to play, I think.

Thanks for the info! I just downloaded Tetris GB today. I love those 8-bit graphics and sounds!
I've just started playing with it and so far it's been fun.
I didn't buy it though, I won it.
Pretty funny story actually.
I was at EB Games for a Mario event and I was talking to the lady that works there about how I never got my Mario hat and Tanooki hat that I was meant to get for pre-ordering Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land last year, and it turns out they had some sitting upstairs so she went and got them for me.
Then towards the end of the game there was a Cosplay competition where there were prizes for people who dressed up as Mario (or other Nintendo) characters.
I noticed that they had five games to give away, but there was only four people entering.
I decided to seize the opportunity so I put on my Tanooki hat and went and got myself a free game.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
@LordJumpMad I got Tetris, my two Mario hats (although technically they're pre-order bonuses), the pack of series 2 Kid Icarus AR cards and a Mario showbag thing full of mostly useless stuff, but I guess a Mario pen and sticker and whatever can't hurt.
Not too bad for one day of free stuff, and add that to Project Zero 2 which I bought... my bag was getting pretty full by the end of the day.
Going back on Wednesday for a Mario Tennis Open tournament so if I'm lucky there could be more.
