@Light_Knight - My friends are all over the world, speaking many different languages. We all have the same stationery available. The only exception is there was one that came out of Japan very early in January. That stationery is blue and green with a red bow in the corner and has falling flowers on it. Is that the one you mean? Anyone who got a letter on it was able to add it to their collection. So everyone soon had it. As far as I know, there haven't been any other new ones come out.

I think he hasn't unlocked the different kinds of paper yet.

What, this isn't the 80's reference topic? Well then, I find Swapnote to be fun & exciting... I only wish they'd limited the number of pages you could send, but NOT the ink. I keep running out of ink halfway through a picture of a ninja!

I think the ink limit is because it is recording the whole time you are drawing. The more 'ink' you use, the bigger the file you will be sending.

...Apparently you can only send one picture as well huh? That sucks. (figured I'd bring this back since i decided to look into again)

I always thought the ink limitation was stupid and couldn't understand why until you gave your reason for it. It does make sense that it is actally recording and not just a simple art/writing program.

The sound recording is only 5 seconds? What a waste of 15 coins! -_-

It only cost 15 coins to unlock the feature. After that it's free to use. Same with sharing photos. It only costs once. What's so hard about that?

I hope Nintendo themselves continue with the messages they sended out about Zelda and their 'Nintendo Direct' conference. That was really nice. Would be cool to see more of that.

Checking messages while in a game is something I expected, but I guess we're not getting it unless we're told otherwise. If Nintendo ever gives us a built-in messaging system, then that would be awesome.

Anyone else having problems with the dates of the letters received? I have supposedly received my latest letters on 4/4/2012, which is 20 days from today.
