Topic: Since the PSP vita IS a better system, will nintendo work harder to make better games, to make up for that fact?

PSP vita IS a better system, this comes from a guy who likes DS much better than psp.

It has 2 analogs, a much larger screen, is much more powerful, better, more responsive touch screen, a small touch pad in the back which enables users to use in a game when needed, better camera, more features, better online etc.

3ds has 3d, but the only game that is upgraded by it is the new Mario for 3ds, the 3ds has 2 screens but PSP, has 1 a much bigger/more responsive touch screen.

I doubt anyone would think that a little 3d, 2 screens (that combined probably don't even make up the size for 1 psp Vita screen) could make up for 2 analogs, a much larger screen,much more power,a better more responsive touch screen, a small touch pad in the back which enables users to use in a game when needed, better camera, more features/apps, better online etc.

Since the PSP vita is a better system, with better hardware will nintendo work harder to make better games? Your thoughts?

Hm, define "upgrade". You only list Mario, but what about Kid Icarus, Zelda, Star Fox, etc. Two of them got remakes with upgraded graphics and features, and one got an entirely new game. Next, you mention the PSP, but wasn't this about how the Vita was better? Also, I do not recall the PSP ever having a touch screen in the first place.

Clearly this is the opinion that every gamer should have! It would be logical to pick the system with better technology, despite having a different set of games and features. No one would ever prefer Nintendo systems to play Nintendo games! No sirree! Also, am I detecting copying and pasting in your argument?

You state this like it is a fact. Surely you know that the term "better" is simply subjective and not factual. Now what do you mean by "better hardware" and "better games"? Surely you are aware that there were good games on systems with lower specs. My personal thoughts? Simply that better tech =/= better games.

I don't actually own a PSP Vita, but from the standpoint of better hardware, I do think the Vita is above the Nintendo 3DS. That said, I believe the 3DS kills the Vita in terms of quality games as of right now, so they already have been making better games to compensate for the weaker hardware. I don't define a system by how good its hardware is, as more power and being bigger doesn't mean a thing if high levels of quality aren't being released. 3DS has that, and so I think it's the better system from the most important aspect of a gaming system: software. That said, it might not be a bad thing to broaden my horizons a bit and invest in a Vita at some point.

Vita is not better than the 3ds. They are two different handhelds offering different experiences. Why can't everyone just get along?

Anyway, the 3DS is pretty sweet and the Vita seems sweet too. If I had enough cash to cough up, I'd buy the PS Vita. As it is, I do not, and I obviously prefer Nintendo gaming.

No, Nintendo will not try to make better games. Guess that means PSP Vita wins. Oh well.
