Topic: Should I get Asphault 3D or Ridge Racer 3D?

i just bought asphault 3d at gamestop (used) and the dude mistakingly put rr3d into my purchase. should i return the ridge racer for asphalt or should i just keep rr?

I personally didn't care for Ridge Racer, but I haven't played Ashphault, so I can't say for sure.

Wait, Ashphault is made by Gameloft, right? They wouldn't know a good game if it hit them in the face. Keep Ridge Racer.

Well, do you still own/have a dsi? Try Asphalt 4 on dsiware, its not on the eshop, to much like asphalt 3d. But from what i've read on reviews RR3D is better even though i only have played asphalt 3D and 4 so i don't know, but 3D did get boring quick, yet i picked up MK7 the same day so it was overshadowed. Also neither racer has online if that helps /

Just remembered Asphalt 3D is just Asphalt 5 with 3D added, so I would still keep ridge racer, besides its cheaper than if you bought RR3D used, but maybe you should take it back just so you feel a little better about getting the wrong game at a better price

I don't own Asphalt, but I can say that I am still playing Ridge Racer 3D, many months after my purchase. If you care to do all the challenges, it will last you a long time.

@RR529 I wouldn't go so far as to say they haven't been involved in any good games. They just make a ton of licensed games so it's kind of tough to see any of the good games they've made.

@KromCompany Well it depends. Asphalt 3D DOES have online multiplayer modes versus Ridge Racer 3D which does not. On the other hand though, it seems to be plagued with technical issues and is pretty generic. I'd recommend Ridge Racer as a safe selection.
