Topic: Regular Show: Mordecai And Rigby In 8-Bit Land

So yeah, discuss and whatnot.

I'm not a big Adventure Time fan, but considering that turned out well, I'm hoping this will as well because I watch Regular Show quite a bit. With Wayforward developing, I have middling expectations for this due to limitations, and certain aspects of AT:HIKWYSOG.

Things required to make this game awesome.

1. Full (or at least partial) voice acting. Considering Adventure Time lacked this, I sadly (very sadly) can't expect this. If the 3DS is as powerful as a PS2 though (which it definitely is, that's 64 bit), this is definitely possible. Voice delivery and dialogue makes up 50% of Regular Show.
2. A Teen rating. I'm never the one hoping for blood or sex in video games, or the one who only plays M games. However, with Regular Show's sense of humor, I wouldn't want it watered down, as pushing the barriers is part of the charm.
3. Licensed 70s/80s soundtrack. Whoever watches this show will understand this.
4. Oh yeah, gameplay and stuff.

Also, technically unrelated, but since JG Quintel worked on the show, please god let a Flapjack revival happen and a game made, and make the game good (a horror game for kids sounds awesome, does it not?)

Oh boy this has real potential. I doubt it'll have much of Regular Show's edgy humor though.

I'm a little skeptical about how this Regular Show game will turn out. I'll probably wait for a review to come up until I think about purchasing it. Plus, the new Adventure Time game at least will include four player co-op multi-player and voice-acting unlike the previous one.

Looking forward to the 80s style soundtrack thing.

I love Regular Show, and I would hope it gets a worthy game. You're also right, it would deserve an 80's soundtrack. I could do without voice acting, though. If it says 8-Bit Land, one would assume they would be 8-bit? Adding voice acting would be odd, I think. If the characters themselves aren't gonna be 8-bit, it seems to make more sense, but I don't think it matters that much. The voice acting wouldn't make or break the game.

Dude. Bits do not equal power. 3DS is 32 bit. Dreamcast was 128 bit.

It looks like the new Adventure Time game will be voiced, so there may be hope yet.

Can't wait to see what the gameplay is like!!! I loved the Adventure Time so I hope this is good...

I would love to buy this game because I'm a Regular Show fan and I really liked the series so why not play the games? _{yep,playing the games.}

This has so much potential, the randomness of the show should translate to a ridiculously varied and bizarre gaming experience...if this game turns out uninspired and boring, the developers can only blame themselves.
