Topic: PoPoLoCrois Farm Story

Could be a nice one, I like the games where two genres are combined, like we see in Rune Factory's!

Never played PoPoLoCrois but this seems relevant to my interests, will definitely be keeping an eye out for this one.

The official name is PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale, in case you want to update the title.

So "Story of Seasons" is the official name they're using for Bokujou Monogatari now. Intersting.

Well, yeah, it's been like that since the last game they localized.

Well damn. I'm still not even half done with Story of Seasons!!!!!!! Eh, this one can (probably) wait until 2016. After all if those Fallout 4 rumors are to believed....I don't think I'll need anything else (except maybe Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon) for the rest of the year.

EU release please. Has it been confirmed that this game will have combat or will it be a straight Harvest Moon-like experience?

There's a Japanese trailer out. It has some mishmash of Turn-based and SRPG combat.

They had never said if it was a one-off title or that was the new name.

@Nacho: It will be Story of Seaons as long as XSeed localizes the games, because Harvest Moon -as a series- is owned by Natsume, not Marvelous/XSeed.

Never once mentioned Harvest Moon. I was just talking about the name "Story of Seasons". They never said that that was the new official name for the Bokujou Monogatari series. They could've released the next Bokujou Monogatari game to the west and called it Farm Story. Was it a one-off name, or the new name for the series? Until now, I didn't know. But now, I know.

Although in all honesty, "Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale" is a pretty ridiculously long name.

Well, just making a new name for every next entry would be kinda silly (and bad for sales) so I guess it's just something that was "safe to assume".

As a side note, it seems the video game name "Farm Story" is already copyrighted in America.

It's a french word. They're pronounce it the same, just with, you know, a Japanese accent...
