I like how one of the most prominent features of Nintendo's big Ever Oasis ad on the site right now is "From the makers of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" (3DS port...) I mean, technically true, but incredibly misleading advertising there...

I've just gotten up to the first boss/guardian. At this point in the game you have access to one large desert hub, which is situated right outside your oasis. I do wonder if you gain access to other areas, but at this point in the game the 'open world' seems to be just this area. I wouldn't say it's huge...but it's not small either.
In regard to dungeons I've only came across 2 so far, one of which I've had to visit multiple times but with each visit I got deeper and deeper. Each dungeon is littered with puzzles, which involve the use of different party members skills. So far, they're not really hard and I don't see them getting any harder but I may be wrong. The desert hub also seems to be littered with small caves where you can collect resources etc.
I am actually really enjoying the game, the visual and sound design are top notch and there is something oddly addictive about the gameplay.
At this point I think I'd give the game a 9/10.
If you have any gameplay specific questions just ask.
@Linoshi thank you for telling me 😄 This will likely be a game I get down the road. I like puzzle dungeons that aren't too hard and from what people are saying it seems like a charming game. I'd also like to know about how long it takes to beat but I understand you won't know that yet xD. Again, thanks for your impressions 😘

God loves you
I do know that the max level for characters and the Oasis is level 30. I would imagine you're going to get quite a sizeable playtime, I did read someone had only a level 18 Oasis after 25 hours... But of course take that with a pinch of salt as it's of course dependent on playstyle. When I'm at home I'll look at my level and play time for comparison.
Sigh... I want to save money for Splatoon 2, but Tethu is just SO DARN CUTE!!! The demo was extremely charming and enjoyable, so I'm definitely considering a purchase.
"You feel it? Fawful is also feeling it! I am needing to feel it even more, though!" - The magnificent Fawful
Finally got around to playing the demo and thought the game Would just be ok..................BOY WAS I WRONG! This game oozes of charm and fun. I know I keep say the 3ds needs to be killed off but it's gems like these that make me still realize how much I still love this system. Now I need to get this game sooner rather then later and beat it before EO V comes out.
I love the switching out players to control at will and each having different abilities.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
This game has been like a straight-up charming addiction, haha. I stayed at a friend's last night and after I had showed him some of the game, he mentioned that he was looking for something new to play anyway, so he rolled out to Walmart at like 11pm to grab a copy himself(of which they only had 2 left).
@Pokefanmum82 Not too sure if you have the recipe yet, but you can equip Tethu with a magic wand and that makes things a bit more convenient; I've honestly kept it on him since, mostly.
@Pokefanmum82 If you use the Aqua Gate, you can teleport back, change members, and then select Aqua Gate at your warp thing, and go back to exactly where you were.

The aqua gate is a big plus in the game. You can use it to get a character with whatever skill is needed, use it, then switch the party member out again. Saves an enormous amount of frustration.
