You're not the only one! I always get my electronics in black, because it makes them look much more sleek. With the video, however, I'm kinda dissapointed they didn't go through everything like in most unboxings

I'll always take black over anything else, but I'm not planning to get one at launch. All the colors they've shown look really good though.

I think the black is just a little too boring. Personally would have preferred to see some of those yellow or purple ones.. but the blue is fine.

Yeah thats too bad. But hey, with 150 "Tracks", it could make up for those load times. BUT no Online play Namco!?!

On a side note, I would choose black over blue since it's a mysterious color. _{Still getting red though even if I'll wait 2 years.}

Well, they did just throw in the "+cats" seemingly as an afterthought at the end of the title...

and there's only 3 different cat breeds anyways (one for each game i think)

What's the black rectangle besides the stylus? According to some reports, I've heard it's for IR communication, like the Gameboy Color.

Saw it, and I also attended Nintendo3DSBlog's livestream.

I saw an IR port mentioned in an interview a long time ago, but we've never heard what it was supposed to be for, and I've seen no verification that it is indeed present on the 3DS. I was thinking maybe it's to make GBC games from the eShop compatible with games that use the IR port on the GBC for people who still have a GBC and their old carts. The only other possible thought I had was it might allow it to see the Wii sensor bar if the 3DS was going to interact with the Wii in some way.

I want my Cosmos Black 3DS now.
