We've all read the release date software.... here are more games release dates for Japan
17 March Super Monkey Ball 3D (Sega) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D (Ubisoft)
24 March Dead or Alive Dimensions (Tecmo Koei) Gundam The 3D Battle (Namco Bandai) Rabbids Time Travel (Ubisoft) BlazBlue Continuum Shift II (Arc System Works) Pro Baseball Famisuta 2011 (Namco Bandai)
TBC March Asphalt 3D Nitro Racing (Konami) Pro Baseball Spirits 2011 (Konami) The Sims 3 (Electronic Arts) Tsukurou Ponta no Gardens 3D (Electronic Arts) Shanghai 3D Cube (Sunsoft) Naruto Shippuuden (Takara Tomy) Will Shooter XX (Dorasu) Steel Diver (Nintendo) Nikoli Puzzle (Hmaster)
Only really one in there I really want tbh. What do you think? Ninty has promised a steady stream of 3DS software games so hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the one you want.
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."
I bet half of the games on this list will be Western launch titles. I am most intrested in Super Monkey Ball, Naruto 3DS, Steel Diver, and Dead or Alive Dimensions.
None of these are games I would definetley get. I would get Blazblue: continum shift II if the calamity trigger was on a nintendo console because continum shift's story follows on from the story in calamity trigger. Also will shooter xx is actually called virus shooter xx.

I suggest looking up the cutscenes, it's not worth sacrificing proper balance and good gameplay for the generic story.
If Super Monkey Ball is going to be a launch title I might get the 3DS at launch, but there's a good chance that I'm going to wait until some better games come out. I guess I'll know what it's going to be within 40 hours.

@mickeymac From what you said, it sounds as though continum shift is a lot better than calamity trigger so I'll probably get the 3ds version after watching some cutscenes or an lp of it. If I watch an lp, I'll watch it after I've finished watching the Sonic 06 lp that I'm currentlly watching.

Nothing making the system a must buy for me. Especially since it will be at least $250 with tech barely worth $200 (my opinion based on other portable electronics prices). This brings my titles of interest up to Professor Layton, Super Monkey Ball, and Rabbid's Time Travel, which on a more mature system would be "games I'll get on the off chance I finish all my other games I own now, but wouldn't be too concerned about missing." Nice for me, since it'll make it easier to hold out for a price drop.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
BlazeBlue is a must, and maybe Steel Driver. Yet Monkey Ball has me scratching my head....Graphically, it looks awful.
I think we should be used to most well known 3rd party games looking half-assed on Nintendo systems. Let's just hope the game can finally be a game anywhere as good as 2.
