but i try to play with the dual swords aswell. hammer is too heavy on the R-button and mine is already used too much. also i can slash off tails with dual swords.

Just finished the first quest of killing a Great Jaggi, too use to the MH3U on the Wii U with it's HDness, still fun and all, don't really need a second circle pad to play really but it would be nice to have.
@6ch6ris6 Hammers is my favorite class although I can use any other class, but I usually play with others who use different classes that can cut tails while I bring the THUNDA!
Tried a test recording (with iPhone, lol), and this method was super uncomfortable. Gonna upload the video soon tonight, but chances are no matter which method i do, the video is gonna be shaky-ish...

So just curious, how many of you are playing as beginner? I've never played MH before, but if I choose beginner I won't be able to play with people who are playing experienced. I don't think I'll have too hard a time catching on, I've played games like this before.. @Spoony_Tech which did you choose?

Ah, is it really like that? Well that's a slight problem. I guess I have to see what style other people are going to choose before I start.

I'd say after about 1000 hours across 3 different versions I've graduated to expert lol. So expert it is.

Oh haha alright, thanks, @Pikpikp I guess I'll just start as beginner and change if it's easy. I usually like a challenge but would like a little training if it's necessary.

got the demo and am loving the charge blade. luckily the switch axe is still available as that is my main weapon in mh3u. still attempting to get used to the camera once again.

those who have webcams can do it easily. iphones... i suggest if you have the gps cradle for it then u can rig it to record in a fixed position. use a laptops built in webcam. sure it would be awkward but that's another way. get creative ppl.

Well recording I guess isn't the problem exactly, but editing...and I end up with a really tiny screen with no way of zooming it in. And every program out there has to b bought or you deal with limitations.
Anyways I just gave up...just gonna play the demo for now.

It's not for everybody. With that said try every weapon till you find one you like. The main game won't throw you into a major fight so fast. For some online is the big appeal. Either way the best parts are carving, studying the monsters moves, and upgrading your armor sets. This demo honest let you do a lot of what the game has to offer but it is far better then 3U's demo.
