Question...is it possible to play MH without consulting a wiki or other online guide?

I've been looking to make the Seregios set but have had to find people with the quest due to still having a few incomplete G1 keys.

Yes, but it requires abnormal amounts of trial and error (especially for weapon upgrading). After all, some folks must've found out about all this to post it to the wiki in the first place (or get info from the official guides). Also, beware that some people just assume you use wiki magic, so if you make a not-so-obvious mistake (like having an element on your weapon that the target monster resists), they'll chew you out regardless.

Sure if you Like running around for hours trying to find where and how to get certain items. It's possible but I wouldn't want to do it.
