My friends gave it a bad review and folks I've talked to said it was really lame also the employees at the GameStop where I live said it was really bad. I tried it for myself wasn't very pleased. GameStop was giving the game away free and no one was even taking it. And my brother got it and tried selling the game online but no one bought it and he was selling it really cheap, its still sitting in his drawer.
I feel like you're lying about the "Gamestop trying to give it away for FREE". That's not something that happens as far as I am concerned. MH:Tri is not a BAD game by all means. There are those who aren't patient enough to get into the game (it requires lots, so you can pretty much 'test' your patienceness with this game, I suppose).
I wouldn't care what employees of Gamestop say. It's just their opinion. Sometimes, it's an actual fact (such as them shovelware like Redneck Barnyard Games- check it out).
Anyways, MH4: Prime would be... interesting. Well, I mean, MH has recently appeared in MGS: Peace Walker- and MGS in MHP3 (costume wise). Would be interesting to see The Legend of Zelda items in MH[3DS] (not littered around the game, obviously). Seems like Capcom is willing for multiple crossovers in their games as MHP3 contains two or three others besides MGS by the way.
But I don't mind you guys liking it, this is just my point of view and my opinion.
I think those people only played the beginning part of the game (offline mode anyways), where you're running around collecting mushrooms and stuff. Probably the only thing I didn't like about the game really...well, besides after defeating Ceadus offline...and Ala online, lol. (gets boring after a while...)

What is it with people wanting only Wii games on their 3DS?
Guess I'm alone, but I'd like 3DS exclusive games that I can't play on my Wii. I'm not buying games over again just to play them in 3D on a smaller screen.
I want games like Kid Icarus. Not ones like Monster Hunter 3DS, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Wind Waker 3DS, (any other Wii title) 3DS.
Well I see what you're saying but personally I would like to see the continuation of these series not ports, I don't want Brawl on the 3DS but I sure as hell would love a completly new Smash Bros. on the 3DS and well also it isn't our job to make up cool totally new games for the 3DS because if we could make them all up well then it wouldn't be any surprise when they came out and that takes the fun out of it for me but I think Minecraft 3DS (the game that will never be) would kick ass. Anyway that's just my opinion
I got a sexy deep v-neck and I'm not afraid to use it XD

I don't want to know where you live because at my gamestop recommended me buy it, its the only reason the game was brought to my attention but hey different places different opinions But I don't mind you guys liking it, this is just my point of view and my opinion.
Man you live in a wierd place, at my Gamestop this game was recommended to me. I wouldn't even have it if they hadn't pointed it out to me. Anyway this seems a little fishy, Gamestop never sells anything for free and if you sell a game at a reasonable price online (at a popular internet site) then you will probably get it sold but as I said a reasonable price. If someoine can get a game for less at Gamestop or on the same site no one will buy it, I know you said he was selling it really cheap but you also said Gamestop gave something away for free so I'm thinking you might be bending the truth. In my experience if games aren't selling they take those games off the racks but they never just give it away. With so many holes in that story I think you might be a trollin' but then again I have no idea. Sorry I flare up when people insult MH Tri, it just pisses me off . Sorry for the double post!
...After they told me its not happening anytime soon too...hate it when they do that...then again I probably changed their minds or have second thoughts.....heh, lol.

“It’s shaping up to be a year of continuing the challenge of expanding Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Also the 3DS is coming out, so the time is coming for a change in hardware. The new hardware coming out will probably turn this year into a watershed year.”
So basically Capcom is saying there's a very, very strong possibility that there will be Monster Hunter on the 3DS. Hopefully it won't be a remake of Tri, though, since I might have to pass on that.
I have the feeling it'll just be Portable 3rd...honestly I wouldn't care, I prefer to play offline than online anyways, just as long as they at least give us DLC. (I mean, the games will be cartridges so, yeah...lol)

Yeah, seems like they WERE talking about the NGP. I think it would be cool if there was a simultaneous release of a new MH game on NGP and 3DS. That would be a first.
I would definitely purchase a MHT game if it came out for the 3DS. I don't have much prior experience playing it, but I did watch a friend play it a lot on his PSP, and it looked very fun.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
MH = Tons of cash for Capcom (in Japan at least). If the 3DS sells anywhere near estimates, Capcom WILL release MH on it. It would be like printing money. Evern if they ported the Wii version or Portable 3rd.
Either way, definited purchase. I tried Portable 2 on PSP, and couldnt get the hang of the controls, and thought it was way too difficult. Tried it on Wii, and got on much better with it. Its a phenomenal game, and its a shame the Wii doesnt have more titles like it. After that, I went back to the PSP one, and found it a lot easier. I even managed to cope with the camera, which really isnt that bad when you get used to it.
