Topic: Metroid Prime Hunters deception on 3DS?

i was on some japanese gaming site. Just casully looking at the articials in English via google translate. And I came across a topic about a new metroid game for the 3DS it was called Metroid Prime Hunters deception. But i am not sure if its an acurate english translation. It didnt have a release date or anything but it said that it was a 3D action shooter game and it said something about being developed by NST but i dont know what that is. I dont know the website but it was in japanese and had a weird english translation so i didnt really catch it. I dont know if it is true but i hope it is.

What do you guys think!

Yeah, I say rumor too. If a new Metroid Prime game was announced, gaming sites in English would be all over that.

I would think the Metroid fanbase would be all over a rumored Metroid game coming to the 3DS. NST, Nintendo Software Technology, is the developer of Metroid Prime Hunters, and the name Metroid Prime Hunters: Deception means quite a bit to me being a big fan of the original's story. That said, with no link, this is a rumor I'm not going to invest much hope in.

Dread was a fan-cycled rumor and nothing more, which I'm pretty sure the developers confirmed as just that and dismissed. People seemed to've over-analyzed the message in the Prime game from which the message appeared. I would tend to think if Dread were being worked on they would've given us some information a long time ago.

@DaveGX: Actually Dread was an idea that came from Nintendo themselves as they listed the game on an old DS press release on accident. At the time it was just an idea that was being developed internally, but fans never let it go.

Developers said they were thinking about it a while back...but nothing never happened. Then Corruption came out and made things worse. xD
So yeah this was before Corruption came out...was listed as an upcoming DS game, then vanished. I remember hearing being talked about in some interviews with Nintendo, they didn't really say anything on whether its happening or not...so, who knows.

AFAIK Andriasang doesn't have any insider sources.(though the dude behind it did work for IGN so he might have a few)
