Wow, that's a long title.
Anyway, this is a disscussion thread about the app, so post questions and other stuff.
My question is, what happens in StreetPass?
It says you will trade, but I love my dear cards and don't want to lose them to a stranger.
Achievement List:
You get one free card for each of the milestones below.
6 (This unlocks card 61, The dynamic duo!)
15 (This unlocks card 62, In sync!)
30 (This unlocks card 63, Going for gold!)
50 (This unlocks card 64, Got silver!)
72 (This unlocks card 73, Friendly Rivalry)

i just hope i don`t lose my four star cards to lowly one stars via street pass.
i suppose i`ll soon find out what happens when i pass somebody with this.
tbh, it`s funny how this card swap game comes out at the same time as the official 2012 games video game comes out.

I'm assuming that when you trade via streetpass- you maybe only trade cards you have multiples of? Since it would appear you can purchase a card you have more than once.

As tested with sister's 3DS: StreetPass randomly selects a card and shares it. You keep the original.

Why doesn't the rest of the world get this App? Darn it, I thought it was for PAL regions until yesterday when I tried the QR code.

I really hope NA get's this. But I have a feeling that since the olympics are in Europe, this won't be coming to NA.

Seems good idea, but it relys a lot on Street Pass. SP may work well in Tokyo or New York with a high population density, but in Madrid it's nearly impossible to make Street Pass even in the Subway. I had a long trip from north to south of my city in subway and only crossed with two in all the afternoon. It seems i will never get all the cards.

I have 66 and have 0 streetpasses for it. (Sister is an exception. She gives me duplicates.)
Nintendo Zones are what you need.
Another tip: Walk round in circles with your 3DS in your pocket with the TV on (otherwise you get bored), then change the date. Repeat.
Then spend the play coins you get on the cards.
*Note: Best done alone, late at night or you will probably end up in hospital for weird behavior.

If you have no money on your eshop, change your region to England, then change it back again. Or search the eshop for card album in your e shop's langauge.

Did anyone without MASATL2012OG on 3DS get it?

Ok, it is out in Holland now! I downloaded it, but it doesn't seem that exciting! It starts out with only 5 cards, only one of it was actual artwork and in 3D (it was Sonic), while the others just where some simple screenshots from the look of it! It's certainly no Pokedex 3D!

Anyway, gonna collect the cards as good as I can! But I don't think it's something I wanna keep in the longterm!
