Intelligent Systems better not delay Sticker Star, I was looking forward to playing these two games. :c
So much for playing this on Halloween.

It would've been such a perfect game for Halloween, but somehow I don't think it would've been released in October, maybe November. That's all irrelevant now since its going to be in early 2013...

Still, I was planning on playing the original on Gamecube this Halloween anyways.

Like I said in the main thread, in Japan we don't have that culture of Halloween, I wasn't expecting this game to be released anytime before Christmas season in Japan anyway let alone overseas. Plus, there's isn't even a full release date here, while Bravely Default IS scheduled to come out in mid-October, and that release date was decided a long time ago. I'm guessing December for Japan at the earliest.

I don't think Japan or Europe are getting it in 2012 either. If you remember, the game's being developed by Next Level Games, a North American studio. If the reason for it being delayed is for development reasons, there's a high possibility its affecting JP/EU as well for a 2013 release. Of course, it might just be Nintendo of America wanting to push it back for better sales, not wanting it to compete with other big releases on the 3DS and the Wii U launch.

@Emaan I looked that up, since I didn't know about it before. And yeah, while it is being developed by a Canadian studio, their last game for Nintendo (Punch-Out for the Wii) was a collaboration effort with Nintendo of Japan developers, and not completely developed by Next Level. We don't know in what capacity Luigi's Mansion 2 is being developed, so its hard to base the release date on that at this point.

I'm just waiting for more details.

I'm not complaining that much since Wii U will likely prevent me from getting more than 1 new retail 3DS game, and even that's not too likely. And Paper Mario > Luigi's Mansion anyway so this is fine. Just make more awesome missions in the meanwhile.

Well unfortunately Europe gets the shoddy treatment as well.

Can they at least give a real release date so I know when I should play the original again in the sequels honor?
